we received such a warm welcome from Mij and Aidan upon our arrival, it was our third visit in three summers and we'll be back to make it four. The vegan breakfast options were equal to and I believe better than the original options, from full English breakfasts to pancakes with berries and syrup. The hot tub is delightful and because you can book it, it is guaranteed to give you a time alone to chill. as always our room was tastefully decorated, this year we were in room 5 which has been newly decorated since our last visit and is blue, white and silver with beautiful wooden furniture. it felt so luxurious and the new bathroom is amazing, my partner loved the rain shower.

From the moment we booked the hotel did everything to make sure we had a comfortable, pleasant stay. The breakfast was cooked fresh and you had plenty of choice. The hotel catered really well for my wife who needs gluten free food. The room was spacious and clean. Always contact the owner for his off peak weekly rates you won’t be disappointed.

We found Earlston House whilst trawling through the countless places to stay in Paignton. From the first welcome to the last goodbye everything was extremely professional and enjoyable. Aidan and Mij were very friendly and made us feel so welcome in the property. The facilities were comfortable and very clean. Little touches like fresh milk left for you in the fridge and proper tea and coffee in jars in the room rather than sachets went down really well. The room was very well decorated and quite “quirky”. The breakfast was cooked to order and extremely good quality. If there was one thing that could be improved on it’s the water pressure in the showers which did take a long time to heat up. However I would not hesitate to come back here again We really felt that we were just staying with family as it was so comfortable and friendly here. Definitely give this lovely place a try, you won’t be disappointed

Excellent all round. Such a nice friendly couple. Really couldn't do enough for us and genuinely lovely people. Breakfast was amazing. Room great. Parking easy. Hot tub fab. Not one complaint. So so good

Just come back from our weeks stay here. What an amazing place to stay. Aidan and Mij both such lovely people and were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always happy to help with anything. The rooms were big and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice with tasty home cooked food. The homemade jam was delicious. I definitely recommend the French toast, enjoyed by all the family. Lovely garden outside with plenty of seating in either sun or shade. A garden bar to enjoy also. The hot tub was amazing, what a lovely addition to have and enjoy whilst staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family and will definitely miss it. Looking forward to returning here in the future.

Just spent 4 nights at Earlston House Hotel on bed and breakfast. Room spotlessly clean with excellent facilities. Owners are very friendly and allow well behaved dogs. Breakfast 1st class with cereals, choice of cooked e.g if you like a large breakfast, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 hash browns, 2 eggs, beans, mushrooms and black pudding. (you can of course have less) fruit, pancakes, tea, coffee etc. You have of use of the jacuzzi, plenty of parking space

Where to start the owners are lovely and can’t do enough for all their visitors the rooms are all very clean and very well decorated also very comfortable so I would like to say a massive thank you for such an amazing weekend
