Two Beaches

I cannot recommend Two Beaches B&B anymore. Me and my partner stayed here for my birthday weekend and wow. Absolutely stunning place - spacious room, super comfy bed, delicious breakfast and incredible hosts! Location is great walking distance to the seafront - Cannot wait to come back again.

This was our 4th visit to Two Beaches and it just keeps on getting better and better. The last three times have been in Churston, which is the highest room on the building, but you're always rewarded with a magnificent view across Paignton towards Torquay and beyond. The bathroom facilities far surpass any other B&B we've ever been in. The latest addition to the room was a coffee machine... we couldn't have asked for anything better for a room which has everything. Although a traditional breakfast is offered (my favourite), my wife always enjoys other alternatives more. She particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit salad and croissants. Finally, Tina is a brilliant Hostess and Two Beaches deserves it's position as best Hotel in Paignton, though I would argue, it's possibly the best Hotel in the South West.

We received a very warm welcome from Tina and was shown into the lounge area, where we were provided with a lovely tray of tea and biscuits. In the lounge area there is a small honesty bar and from the lounge there are doors leading to a small outside seating area. Our room on the first floor was pleasant with a small dressing area and bathroom with shower etc. everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The breakfast, which we preordered the evening before, was very very good. A good selection of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and fruit juices to start, with the main breakfast freshly cooked, egg cooked to perfection with good tasty bacon and lovely sausage. Plenty tea/ coffee and toast as well. The hosts are very welcoming and really couldn’t do enough. The property has parking and is well situated Next time, we will make sure we stay longer ! Two Beaches was absolutley spotless, the owners had thought of everything you would need. Attention to detail was excellent, Tina was a great host and I would definatly recommend. Great stay, thank you.

Our second visit to this delightful hotel located between Paignton and Goodrington Sands. It is on top of a hill so it’s a fairly steep walk up, but apart from that everything else is absolutely brilliant. The hosts Tina and Phil are exceptional and ensure all customers experience a top quality stay. The property is well maintained, rooms are very comfortable, the breakfasts are well cooked again using quality food. There is good on site car parking. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It’s only ten minute walk to train and bus station so a great location to travel to Brixham, Dartmouth, Torquay and further to Teignmouth and Dawlish etc. the delightful beach resort of Goodrington Sands is also less than ten minutes walk. There are some nice restaurants close by at the scenic harbour setting, try TJ’s or Harbour Lights. There’s also La Scala Italian easily accessible in the town. All in all, a wonderful experience thanks to Tina and Phil.

We have just returned from yet another fantastic stay at Two Beaches. This is without doubt, the best in the area. Tina and Philip are the perfect hosts, and do a brilliant job in providing the best welcome, rooms and breakfast. They take a great interest in all guests, and make you feel at ease. The rooms are well appointed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast quality and choice is superb. We will be returning again next month for what we know will be another fantastic time. Cannot wait. This B&B has a 4 star rating, and is thoroughly deserved.
