Love convenience location but when you booked in app you will got old Building. Like a small kitchen in the room. Tiny Dishwasher was surprised me. Smart tv box is excellent for my Entertainment. Only problem was hot water temperature when showering. It's hard to control stable warm. Too hot and too cold. The towels supposed to change after second day stay that notice in the bathroom but it changed on fourth day of six days.

Clean and tidy, the reception was very kind and helpful with information about the area.
Location is good, walking distance to shops and the beach.
We stayed for 3 nights in this motel.

Lovely location close to everything, check in and out was really easy and the amenities are great with a mini kitchen built into the room. I would recommend staying in the new block as everything is newer and cleaner.

The most cost-effective stay in New Zealand! ! ! Two 1.5-meter large beds, very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook your own food. Perfect. The disadvantage is that the sheets are clean, but the bedding is dirty. Their sheets only help to separate you from the bedding, but they don't fit in. If you don’t call house keeping, there will be no house keeping. If you need house keeping during your stay, remember to tell the front desk every morning ~

There is nothing to comment on the service infrastructure, it is standard for New Zealand Motel. Key complaints: The room was full of little crickets🦗 and I couldn’t finish it. The hotel was so tight that I couldn’t stay anywhere else. It made me sick for two nights! ! ! I have stayed in many hotels in Paihia, edgewater, heritage, including the swiss lodge next door, and I have never encountered this situation.

No AC despite being advertised to have it. But the biggest problem was the shower. There was a sign that it was powered by gas so nearly instant hot water but the knob was sensitive. There's sensitive and there's non functional. It only has 2 temperatures - full scalding hot and full cold. Even when you think you finally found warm or good hot for a second, it will go full cold (or scalding hot) without moving the knob on it's own.
Location is good, just far enough away from town to be not noisy but a couple minutes walk from the main *****. Staff friendly.
But the lack of being able to get a proper shower is a deal breaker. And the no AC was not great either. Bed and pillows were not the most comfortable either - not bad but not the best.
