The room was neat and clean. Very small hotel with very friendly service staff.
The hotel is opposite the Opera House and the location is convenient. It is only a few minutes away to go to attractions or shopping streets.

Palazzo Sovrana is a collection of apartments with daily housekeeping. It is not a hotel or a B&B. It's central location is both a positive: easy walking distance throughout Palermo's historic center; and a negative: it is noisy, even in the low tourist season of January. We stayed on 2nd floor, facing the Opera House, and while it could be considered 'lively' -- in the early morning hours, quiet is preferred. Other than housekeeping, there are no services, and no staff available other than the manager when you arrive. Rooms are clean, a small kitchenette is available. Limited breakfast of coffee, pastries, juice is included and available at a cafe next door. The only access is to your room -- nothing more public or general in terms of seating or a bar or cafe. A very good high-end restaurant, DOBA, is on the top floor -- and accessible within the building -- which was nice especially on a rainy night.

Hello, We just finished a stay at Palazzo Sovrana in Palermo Sicily. I booked through American Express Travel. We had booked 2 rooms . The unit seemed ok at first. But the first night when we went to bed there was a very loud noise coming from the unit above us. It went on til 1 am. I texted the manager of the property at 9 pm and asked about the noise. She said she would call the unit upstairs and tell them to turn down the music. Well that didn't happen, at around 1:30 am it finally stopped. The next night the same thing happened and I contacted the manager again. She said that there is a restaurant club on the floor right above us?? Why would you have a unit underneath a club? So I asked if this will happen every night because we cant sleep. And why would you tell me that you would call the unit upstairs and tell them to turn the music down when you know very well there is no unit upstairs but a club? This was very deceitful. After 2 nights of this we left the unit early. I asked if we could get a refund on terrible time we had there and because we were leaving early She said they don't do that sorry.

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Excellent location. All the main attractions can be walked to (apart from Monreale cathedral). Great opera house across from the hotel.

While visiting Herculaneum I booked a two night stay at Villa Durante. The service has been fantastic. Grazie mille Theresa! Check in was quick and easy, she was watching for me from her office. Once settled she asked what time I would like breakfast the next morning and told me to message her if I have any questions or need anything. Villa Durante has restaurant across the street and a wine shop downstairs. The room was excellent, just as described in my booking. Very clean and comfortable. I had a suite that had a small sitting area and balcony and then the bedroom upstairs. Very beautiful. Comfortable bed, many pillows. Towels, bathrobe, slippers and soaps included. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and delivered to my room. Theresa was able to book a taxi to the airport for me when I leave and also made reservations for dinner at Vivo Lo Rei across the Street. I would highly recommend this beautiful and unique B&B. Very close to all the sights at Herculaneum and Pompeii. Grazie Mille!

We spent 4 nights at Palazzo Sovrano - it was great! Perfect location that made it easy for us to walk almost everywhere in Palermo that we wanted to go. The managers contacted us for our arrival information and were there to greet us when we rang the doorbell. We had a key card to use after that. The entrance is just a wooden door on a pedestrian street - we walked right past it the first time! There are a few stairs but then an elevator to use. (The restaurant Doba is on the 4th floor. Great place!) Our room had everything we needed and was modern and comfortable with daily maid service. We had coupons to use at the Ruvolo Cafe right across the narrow pedestrian, which worked great. One morning I couldn't open the room safe (had likely keyed in a wrong number). We used What's App to contact the managers and within 10 minutes we had help. We highly recommend staying at Palazzo Sovrano!

So so beautiful! Our apartment was airy, bright, spacious and very well decorated. We had a breathtaking view of the opera house. Checkin went very smoothly and Adele was very welcoming and helpful. Location is outstanding. Definitely recommend staying here.

I booked a Superior Deluxe Room, which in all the pictures posted it in *******, that type of room is fully facing the Massimo Theater and the square, but mine was at the end of the side of the building in an ally facing other building, 2 meters saperation, which means no view and no privacy. When I complained to the staff, they say the have 2 Superior Deluxe Room facing the theater, and 2 facing the ally. Good luck if you book this type of room

Centrally located, walking distance to many of the Palermo downtown attractions. The streets nearby are walking street, very charming. Room is really and big. We had a great time.
