The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba

The beach staff were amazing. Very helpful and quick to assist setting up our lounge chairs that we reserved through their app. Staff always coming round to check if we needed drinks or food. The housekeeping level of service was a bit disappointing. Had to call down a couple times just to get our room cleaned (late afternoon). Standard things not replaced (towels, bottles of water, coffee). Once we commented to lobby staff, efforts were made for improvement which was appreciated (but honestly we shouldn’t have needed to have commented at all considering the level of service to be expected from The Ritz).

We only had breskfast twice as we went off-site to Eduardo's for acai bowls. But the breakfasts we did have were very good - eggs, avocado toast and fresh fruit. We generally eat light in the mornings so this breakfast is excellent on your travel day home to fill up. The wait staff are very efficient and friendly. No spa treatments so i cannot comment.

All-around A+ hotel. Superb restaurants. Beach is very calm and near a lot of boats so, some times water is murky.

The Ritz was perfect! I has the best and biggest beach among the hotels. The service was outstanding.

Very nice overall - drinks and food are very pricey, but very goo, It’s a low key environment. If you’re looking for action- not the spot- you want some good R&r. There you go! Marriot seemed nicer .

Very well-maintained property. Clean, welcoming, with highly professional staff. We have received a room upgrade due to our ******* Platinum status. We ate only at the Italian restaurant - food was decent, but nothing wow about it. Here, I also had the worst and the priciest Manhattan of my life ($35 with tip included). The beach is great - white sand, shallow Caribbean blue water, but crowded - lounge chairs too close - and some of the umbrellas are missing the QR Codes and buttons to order food and drinks - the staff on the beach is compensating, though replacing the missing buttons should be an easy fix.

The room was a little tired looking and could use a refresh. The common areas are lovely. The restaurants have a nice variety for options. But what you pay for at the Ritz Carlton is the service - and it is worth every single penny! Everyone is so accommodating, friendly, and attentive. You feel welcomed and cared for in every

My room smelled sooo bad. It smelled like a dog was in the room prior to me occupying it. I called the front desk multiple times in which they tried to resolve the issue by spraying the floors with a freshener. That solution worked for all is 15 minutes. I was just shocked that the Ritz Carlton’s rooms smelled bad especially since the hotel was known for having a really nice fragrance.
