This hotel is absolutely beautiful and authentically Italian.
The staff are wonderful and helpful with tours and restaurant recommendations and bookings.
The location is fantastic! Surrounded by vineyards and wineries and only a short walk into town where there are great restaurants and cafes.

This was our third visit to Villa Le Barone and we are already looking forward to planning the next one. When we were planning this trip to a number of places in Europe, this was where we wanted to spend our 40th anniversary. The Villa is beautiful, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us - in a small village in the middle of Tuscany between Florence and Siena. The staff is incredibly helpful - from making the reservation to scheduling wine tours, to assisting us with other advice about the area. The onsite restaurant is top notch. We learned during our first visit that while you can certainly find great food in other places, you just can't go wrong having dinner at Villa Le Barone every night. And the icing on the cake is the wonderful owners - we so enjoyed visiting with the Count and Countess, and appreciate their hospitality. We have vacationed in many places, and Villa Le Barone is the only place that we have returned to multiple times.

This is a beautiful place, inside and out. The rooms are lovely and quite comfortable. Outdoors there’s a pool, several rose gardens, and many spots to sit and enjoy. The food is terrific (although you should leave plenty of time for dinner — the service was slow).

Villa Le Barone is AMAZING! An absolute oasis in the Tuscan hills. My husband and I stayed during a recent trip to Italy. It was a perfect relaxation stop in the middle of our trip. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is so attentive and kind, and the views are out of this world. The hotel is beautifully restored. Highly recommend adding on the meal option to your stay. There isn't much near the villa to pop out for meals unless you go the whole way into town. We did a wine tour organized by the staff and that was a highlight of the trip. They also have tennis equipment available, a fun way to start the day! We will definitely return!

Everything was perfect at this villa, the staff, the owners who live onsite, the room, the food, and the views of Tuscany—lovely pool and lawn to enjoy the views and the food OMG, just delicious. Their own branded Chanti Classico was excellent. The functional antiques in the room were beautiful. Not a day passed when we did not find something else about the place to admire. The owners greet the guests and are interesting people. We will be back!

We went for our honeymoon and everything was perfect. The location is absolutely fantastic, along with the amazing gardens and outdoor pool area. Would highly recommend and would defiently return. The breakfast was great also

This was our third visit to Villa Le Barone (Previously 1995 and 2020) and once again the hotel came up trumps.. We’ve read some of the negative reviews and all I can think is that they failed to understand what the owners are succeeding in achieving - that is an authentic Tuscan holiday retreat which looks back towards what the Chanti region is known for. Great food, fantastic wines, calm atmosphere and the removal from the hustle and bustle of the modern internet world. Although you have Wi-Fi, an infinity pool and (if you must) the ability to have a TV put in your room. A final note to say don’t leave without trying the coffee mouse… lovely..

This place is a true paradise for rest and relaxation in historically beautiful grounds. Every room is curated with culture at its heart, with lots beautiful antique decor, paintings and reading material available to peruse through. There is a real charm to the villa and it’s staff, every encounter was a joy and the service was impeccable. The food was delicious and thoughtful with it’s options through the set menu, it meant that we could try new things each night! The bar was intimate and filled with lots of options. The infinity pool was as luxurious as the views and there was a real sense of just soaking in the surroundings and admiring the Tuscan hills. There are options of partaking in tennis, ping pong and you can hire bikes as well, this was something we will come back for. As a young couple getting out of a city to escape busy jobs this was the quiet time we needed and Villa Le Barone did not disappoint! Thank you !

My mother and I spent 5 nights at the lovely villa le barone and very much enjoyed our stay. We had very positive interactions with all staff and the nightly dinner was amazing! When we had an issue with our AC unit, they were quick to fix it. The owners were so kind and there to check on guests experience. Highlighta of our trip include painting lesson along with a Chianti tour that the reception arranged. We look forward to going back!
