Was amazing. The manager Paola was very professional. The therapist Joanna was excellent she worked really hard. The spa area is very clean and relaxing. I had the Cretan Massage traditional. Definitely recommended. I feel very relaxed . Perfect staff thank you

Excellent spa experience at Sofianna Resort, Paola And Joanna looked after me and my friend beautifully. We are staying to celebrate our fiftieth birthdays and have treated ourselves to a traditional cretan massage on recommendation from Paola. Utterly wonderful

Manager Paola was super friendly on arrival and guided us through all of the treatment options. I had a lovely Cretan massage and facial with Therapist Joanna. I would highly recommend that you make a visit to the spa part of your holiday at the resort.

Manager Paola was very friendly and helpful and very welcoming Therapist Joanna fantastic, after the massage I was ready to run marathon, definitely I recommend again, it was fantastic. The spa area was amazing, very relaxing and very clean.

We had our first holiday in Cyprus last week and we couldn't of asked for a better place to stay! We arrived late evening around half 11 and the staff were welcoming and showed us to our room straight away. All information was clear and room was spotless. Relaxing atmosphere and food and drink were a good quality and readily available. Something for everyone, for vegans to meat eaters. Myself being vegetarian I was extremely happy. Entertainment of an evening wasn't the best but we preferred the pool bar and music on the speakers. Good distance to the town, easily excessable. Will look to book again in the future, perhaps booking a swim up room too.

Best vegetarian food I have had at any hotel in terms of selection, quality and labelling. It was superb. More generally the hotel was clean and we had a modern pool view room with large walk-in shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to the harbour and to a number of tourist attractions - do check out the Roman mosaics which are sensational. If I had to raise anything it is that there are a lot of inflatables in the pool so you can’t really do a serious swim and the music at the pool bar was very loud and repetitive but it did not ruin the holiday. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel Friendly and helpful staff particularly in the restaurant (we had a baby with certain food allergies) they went above and beyond to find him non dairy etc food. The food choice and quality was the best I have ever seen at an all inclusive restaurant with amazing fresh ingredients. All areas were very clean and well maintained, definitely 5* from me.

What a wonderful holiday we had at Sofiana. Absolutely perfect family hotel. Can't express how lovely every single staff member was. Everyone made such an effort, everyone was so friendly, my toddler must have had 10 high fives a day! The food was gorgeous, I liked that they had different styles each night. Our favourite was the Cypriot evening. There was a park next to the kids club and little pool so all children of all ages were entertained each day. Dylan and Greta were great with the kids activities and mini disco on evenings. The staff who served outside in the restaurant were brilliant, couldn't do enough for us, tables cleared quickly and special drinks made for our toddler. Rock the room was a highlight for us! And the whippy ice cream for my husband and boy. Overall a brilliant hotel that we would recommend to anyone with kids!

Stayed for 7 nights and loved a lot about this hotel. I’d say that while you won’t find the promised “oasis of tranquility” here, there is a lot to like. Firstly the things I really liked. The location is perfect, just a short walk into town and the harbour area. The staff at the hotel are all friendly, professional and fastidious. The rooms are decent, clean and recently decorated. The beds are hard and I realised too late that I could have asked for a mattress topper, but apart from that the room and balcony (we had a pool view) was more than sufficient for our needs. WiFi is available all over the hotel and works very well. The pool was nice although we didn’t use it often opting to swim in the sea. There was parking next door for our hire car and we enjoyed going out exploring most days rather than sitting by the pool in April. The food offering in the restaurant was very good, lots of options at the themed nights and we liked the Cypriot night the best. However, the restaurant is large and noisy which really brings me to the only negative I have with this hotel. It’s clear to see that families and children are very well catered for at the Sofianna, with activities, kids pool and menu, they have a free run and are having a great time too! However, I just wish there was a little more consideration for couples without children. Dinner in the restaurant was not enjoyable. It’s large and noisy and full of kids and that’s before the kids disco starts up. A quiet area just for adults would have been great and we would have eaten dinner here more often than going out as we did. In general the kids here were well behaved but up until very late (11pm) and this did mean there wasn’t any tranquility to be had. I was well aware that this was a family hotel when I booked, I just hadn’t expected it to be completely oriented around the children with little consideration for child-free couples.
