We were absolutely blown away with this hotel. From arrival, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Emily took us to our room and explained fully about the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the swim up pool. The room was nice and modern and very clean. The food!! Wow. Each evening had a different theme and it was such good quality. My husband raved about the salads, waldorf being his favourite. The drinks and cocktails were good. We preferred the inside bar where we were served by the lovely smiley Manju. All the staff here were so nice and made us feel so welcome, always with a smile on their faces. The hotel is in a perfect position for the harbour and the archaeological sites with bars and restaurants all around. The only down side of our stay was it didn't last long enough. We will be back.

We booked to have a pedicure and a manicure. My mum has onset dementia and I was concerned she would struggle with the therapist so, I went in with mum. I soon realised that my mum was in safe hands with Rania, she was so observant to the changes in mums mood and just put her at ease the whole way through. So much so that I left mum with her and returned later for my appointment (I don’t leave my mum with anyone). I went back for my appointment and my sister came and collected mum. Rania made me feel so at ease that I fell asleep upright on the chair, whilst she gave me a manicure, I opened my eyes a few times and she nodded and told me to sleep. I woke when I nearly fell off the chair, I was in such a wonderful sleep. The time I spent awake, Rania and I had a lovely conversation and one of those people you meet and won’t forget, with a magical spirit and very much in tune with my needs throughout. The manicure was perfect and professionally done but the experience was even better. I highly recommend Paola and Rania. If you are in need of some “me time” go for it!

I recently stayed at Sofianna Resort & Spa upon arrival was told the Spa and indoor pool only operate Nov-Mar, was very disappointed. However I upgraded to a direct access pool room of which was very nice. The on site Shop, Catering, Bar and Reception staff work very hard and with excellent customer service, especially (Emily) at Reception desk who went above and beyond to resolve a return taxi transfer for me. The pools and all internal/ external places are exceptionally clean. There were lots of variety with food and always a warm welcome in the dinning room. The hotel is suitable for all ages, especially young families. I would definitely come back to visit again.

Manager Paola is very kind, very helpful, professional. Therapists Rania and Joanna are great therapists, massage was great. I definitely recommend this experience!

Was amazing. The manager Paola was very professional. The therapist Joanna was excellent she worked really hard. The spa area is very clean and relaxing. I had the Cretan Massage traditional. Definitely recommended. I feel very relaxed . Perfect staff thank you

Excellent spa experience at Sofianna Resort, Paola And Joanna looked after me and my friend beautifully. We are staying to celebrate our fiftieth birthdays and have treated ourselves to a traditional cretan massage on recommendation from Paola. Utterly wonderful

Manager Paola was super friendly on arrival and guided us through all of the treatment options. I had a lovely Cretan massage and facial with Therapist Joanna. I would highly recommend that you make a visit to the spa part of your holiday at the resort.

Manager Paola was very friendly and helpful and very welcoming Therapist Joanna fantastic, after the massage I was ready to run marathon, definitely I recommend again, it was fantastic. The spa area was amazing, very relaxing and very clean.
