Hotel Renmark

When visiting Renmark this is a great pub to grab a beer on the verandah and look out over the Murray River. There is also a patio upstairs with an even better view.

Wow! This place is beautifully kept and restored with modern features but art deco style. Could not fault the stay. The main building had a dedicated floor with how the building started and complete with furnishings and memorabilia. The Nanya Bistro is place to eat. Superb dining experience

The rooms are very 70’s decor. However they are clean, the shower good, the bed good, the pub meals are good, the location is excellent. The staff are polite & helpful. Unfortunately you have to to park overnight on the street which is not ideal. Will stay again

Disappointed. Requested a substitution of grilled Haloumi for a vegetarian member of our party, instead of lamb on the meal of the day. (The meal was roast lamb on a large bed of roasted vegetables ) Instead of equal cost substitution, I was offered the requested meal at $11.00 more. As I was asking for a substitution, not an addition, substituting a vegetarian protein for a meat protein, I was very upset that my request could not be met. Haloumi is offered as a side dish or addition to salads etc and is readily available in the Hotel kitchen. The staff and the dining room Manager were not helpful, all staying with the script of “That’s just the way it is” My question is, why should a vegetarian have to pay more, for a substitution that actually costs less than the plated meal. ? My friend ended up with a bowl of chips at what was a family celebratory meal, and my upset at this unfair situation, put a damper on our meal. When a venue takes pride in their service and wins multiple awards, the disregard for a vegetarian diners needs is unacceptable.

Fantastic first floor room with lovely balcony overlooking the river. Extremely clean, plenty of supplies in the room. Loved the pool area - beautifully renovated and crystal clear water with manicured surrounds. I loved it, but be aware it is not heated. The hotel overall has been done up superbly and staff were all super friendly. It was a bit noisy from the main street, but nothing earplugs didn't fix. Such a relaxing 2 night stay - wish it could have been longer!

Amazing. I go to the restaurant side of the hotel once a month or more recently. It is very clean and looks even more amazing since the renovation! Highly recommend the restaurant. Although I have not heard much of the Hotel nor stayed there, it looks clean from passing by inside the building. Is wheelchair accessible with lifts, and even has a history section of the hotel!
