An excellent hotel, we were absolutely delighted. La Fondation Paris is a very cozy and comfortable place. Everything was top-notch: cleanliness, service, atmosphere. The staff are incredibly hospitable and attentive – always ready to help and genuinely make your stay pleasant. A special thank you for allowing us to stay with our dog – that was very important to us. Everything went smoothly and without any issues. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return!

The staffs are very attentive and helpful. During our stay, despite the hotels are still under minor renovations with noisy work, we still have a great time staying in the hotel and mange to explore the swimming pool every nights and we recommend this hotel to anyone. Ps Great neighbourhood nearby many hidden gems around.

The room was new and the mattress was comfortable. Unfortunately, the room lacked a desk and the bathroom was very small, making it difficult to use. There was no place to put toiletries. Breakfast had to be ordered, and the selection was limited, and the wait was long.

It was a very bad accommodation experience. Before I booked, I had seen many reviews saying that the service was average. I thought it was a probability problem and never thought that I would encounter such a shitty thing. It can be said that I ruined my good mood in Paris! 1. In terms of service, the hotel's service can be said to be very average, not at all five-star level, and even lower than many four-star hotels I have stayed in. I stayed for three nights at the end of July. During the check-in, the front desk (a slightly fat white woman, who should be the hotel manager) said that we were upgraded to a larger room, but when I went upstairs, I found that it was actually the deluxe room I originally booked (Figure 1), and the room type was not upgraded at all. Secondly, the biggest problem of this hotel is that the service staff requires customers to bear all losses, even if they are caused by themselves. I booked a room with breakfast for 2 people. After eating breakfast on the first day, I felt that the breakfast was not delicious, so I asked the front desk (a thin white woman about 1.7 meters tall) between 10 pm and 10:10 pm on July 18th if I could cancel the breakfast and refund the breakfast money for the remaining two days. The front desk said she would check if it was refundable and said yes. Later that night I went back to confirm whether it was refundable and whether I didn't have to eat breakfast the next day. The front desk gave me a positive answer, and I didn't eat for the next two days. But when I checked out, the same front desk staff suddenly told me that I couldn't refund before breakfast, saying that I had placed the order on Ctrip. But I had already told her after breakfast on the first day, and she had two days to call my room to inform me that it couldn't be refunded and let me eat breakfast as usual, but she didn't do it. The front desk staff's actions made me lose 152 euros, and because it wasn't her money, she didn't care about it at all. I argued with her at the front desk, and she offered to let me have breakfast next time I stayed, but of course I would never choose to stay in such a bad hotel. At this time, another staff member (should be the hotel manager) (the slightly fat white woman I mentioned earlier) stood up and said that they couldn't refund anyway, and I would never stay in this hotel again anyway. There were other better options at this price, so I asked for a late check-out until 8:00. The manager agreed and gave me an insincere apology. But I was not satisfied with this solution because I had already moved to another hotel that day and only took my luggage back to the new hotel after playing outside. From beginning to end, the employee who made me lose breakfast money never came out to apologize. 2. In addition to the service, the hardware of this hotel is very poor. After swimming on the first day, the room card suddenly failed and I couldn’t go to the room. I could only run to the front desk through the door in a bathrobe and ask him to refresh it. The hotel elevator is less than 2 meters away from the door. At that time, there were many non-guests queuing at the door to go to the rooftop bar. There was no privacy at all. Moreover, the air conditioning temperature adjustment failed on the day of check-in, and there was no coolness even if it was adjusted to 16 degrees. I had to ask the front desk to find someone to fix it (Figure 2). After reading the Google reviews, I found out that I was not the only one who encountered this situation. 3. Breakfast (Figure 3, Figure 4), the 38 euros breakfast per person is limited. I believe you will not find a worse breakfast than this in Paris. The utilization rate of the breakfast restaurant is less than 30%, and most of the tenants living here do not choose to buy breakfast. There is only a pitiful piece of smoked salmon. The fruit platter I ordered only had a few pieces. After asking the waiter for more, I was told that I needed to pay more. In addition to not being limited, the food is also very bad. In addition to 2 croissants, each person can only choose one of the main dishes from fried eggs, scrambled eggs and omelette without fillings, plus two side dishes, and the choices are very few. In terms of taste, it is a Mediterranean dish, basically only salt, very unpalatable. The omelette I ordered on the first day was dry and tasteless, and it was fried with holes all over, which was very bad. 4. The hotel diversion is very bad. Non-guests can also enter the hotel facility area, without any safety and privacy. As mentioned above, the hotel elevator is directly opposite the door, less than 2 meters away. Every night when I return to the hotel, I will see more than 30 people queuing up at the door to go to the rooftop bar. The guests do not have priority to use it, so they can only queue up together. In addition, the cafe on the first floor does not have its own toilet, and diners can only go to -1 to use the toilet. -1 can be used without a room card, and -1 is the swimming pool and spa area. You don’t need to swipe your room card to enter this area, so non-guests can also enter and use the hotel facilities for free. Moreover, there is a large window in the toilet of -1, which is facing the swimming pool. You can see the outside from inside. So the purpose of the hotel doing this is to let outsiders watch the hotel guests swimming? Such a design is ridiculous! The gym and swimming pool are shared with the office building next door. They are very crowded for a long time (Figure 5) and have no privacy. To go to the gym, you even have to go through a fire escape. On the first day, the front desk told me that the gym was in -1, but it was actually on the 0th floor. It can be seen that the hotel staff training is very insufficient. 5. In terms of hygiene (Figure 6), one day I saw a long hair on the bed in the room, but how can two grown men have long hair when they stay here? Stayed for 3 nights, the housekeeping staff saw the wrinkled sheets and didn't iron or change them. You can judge for yourself. In short, it claims to be a five-star fashionable hotel, but it can't even provide basic services, facilities, safety, and hygiene. This hotel is at best three-star level. I suggest everyone to consider it carefully, especially those who care about privacy and service quality.
