Overall, the place, especially the bathroom, looked nothing like the pictures. The sink light flickered, and the shower was a tiny cubicle with yellowing corners.

Hygiene: No bed bugs, cockroaches, or other pests, generally clean and tidy. Environment: Located near Paris Est and Gare du Nord. The area outside isn't the safest, but the hotel itself is reliable, and the soundproofing is quite good; you can barely hear the train. Facilities: Be aware of EU laws and local customs. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, but you can easily buy them at a supermarket for a couple of euros. Service: The breakfast isn't quite suited for Chinese palates. It only offers bread, cheese, vegetables, fruits, and some very salty meat. There's a good selection of drinks, though, including hot water, milk, coffee, and juice, all available freely.

There was no liquid soap in the bathroom, and the TV wasn't working. The table and chair were tiny, like something out of kindergarten.

The room was tiny, I could barely open my suitcase. The water pressure was awful, I kept worrying it would stop mid-shower, and the temperature was all over the place. In the middle of the night, someone swiped a card and tried to open my door – good thing my suitcase was blocking it. When I spoke to the front desk the next day to check the security footage, they just shrugged and said they had no idea, even though I'd only been there three days. The only good thing I can say is that the subway is right next door, which was very convenient.
