Lovely breakfast room with nice view. Walking distance to tourists attractions. Comfortable room. Great service

The hotel itself is amazing - you can expect a great stay all around. The room is comfortable and nice to be in, with a large TV that let's you cast your own media apps (including Disney+, Netflix, YouTube & Spotify) onto it, which is really quite a bonus if you don't speak French and won't particularly enjoy any of the local channels. The service was prompt and polite, and all the staff were really helpful and friendly. The food and drinks in the sky bar were fabulous and were served ridiculously quickly - I haven't had faster service anywhere else - and the view from the windows and terrace were stunning. The breakfast also had a good, varied selection. The one drawback to staying here was the area, which was dodgy to say the least. There was a homeless encampment nearby which had some quite aggressive people, and the area immediately outside the hotel seemed to turn into an illegal street vendor gathering with hundreds of people, many of whom made us uncomfortable and sometimes made inappropriate comments. However it should be noted we didn't feel actively unsafe at any point, just a bit out of place and slightly nervous. Also, the local transport connections are genuinely really helpful, with very quick access to tram, bus and metro. If you don't mind putting up with a slightly lower brow area, this hotel really is a diamond in the rough and I highly recommend it.

Staff on reception at checkin and out were lovely, also at the rooftop bar good service and friendly. The view from the rooftop was amazing. Room was very comfortable and clean

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend. The hotel has good amenities, I like the rooftop bar which has good views. It was only a couple of minutes from the tram and 10 mins from the metro on lines 4, and 13. Great base for exploring Paris if you don't mind being away from the busy bits! All the staff were helpful and polite. Would definitely be back.

We spent 6 nights with my sister and the staff were all so friendly and attentive! The room has all the necessary amenities but there’s no AC so we had to open the window to get some fresh air. During our stay, the restaurant downstairs was closed and the food selection at the rooftop bar was very limited. The other thing is this hotel is right on the border of a sketchy neighborhood so while it’s safe, I would be highly cautious. All in all, it made sense for us because we were gone the whole day and only were at the hotel to sleep.

DEPOSIT ISSUE ANFD POOR COMMUNICATION!!!

Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
