Hotel du Vieux Marais

Very nice hotel in a strategic position. Kind and friendly staff, always willing to help and to make you feel comfortable. From greeting us in our language to remembering our choices for breakfast, they were simply perfect. Rooms are clean and nice.

Stayed for two nights visiting an exhibiton at Centre Beaubourg. Hotel well situated and also quiet. Comfortable room. Good atmosphere and decor. Extremely efficient and kind concierge who gave excellent dinner recommendations. Would stay again.

Loved the location, easy access to dining and transportation and most tourist spots. Reasonably priced and clean and very friendly front desk staff. It is clean and well maintained, but it is a slightly older building. They make you drop your keys off at the front desk every time you leave the hotel which was weird, but good value for money.

This hotel is very central. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. My room was a single-bedded room but it didn't feel small as the furniture was well-arranged around the bed with two niches for a book/bottle of water. There were plenty of powerpoints, a small table with a pouffe stool (rather than a chair) and the bathroom was a wet room which worked well with a hot, powerful shower. A little balcony was a pleasant addition. The room also had air con / heating. Breakfast is served in the rooms, as their is no breakfast room, but I didn't opt for this as I'm vegan and I wanted to explore the amazing vegan patisseries/bakeries in Paris. 'Land and Monkeys' is a 10-15 minute walk away, and has a fantastic array of sweet and savoury options, but there is also a Pain Quotidien cafe 5 minutes down the road from the hotel which has many vegan breakfast options.

Good:staff and service made you feel at home.very convenient location ,room service was great. Not so satisfied:Room is very small,Facilities in room were poor .

I recently stayed for 5 nights at Hotel du Vieux Marais and want to thank Michel, Saline and Zied for their kind hospitality and for always doing that little bit extra to make our trip wonderful. The Marais is a lively district full of great cafes and bars and shops. It is walking distance to the Metro and some amazing sites. As a female traveller with another friend staying in the same hotel, Hotel du Vieux Marais gave us clean rooms, excellent service and a place to feel safe as we returned from our days exploring the city. The rooms may not be overly spacious but have everything you need. This is a boutique hotel and can be somewhat quirky but we loved it and would absolutely stay again. Thank you!!

Room wad quite small and we paid for a larger room - dread yo think the size of a small room.. view I to internal court yard.. something g with wired sticking out of the skirting board. Didn't touch it... looked iffy. The staff were no nice- basic hotel for a stay in Paris. Not too expensive

We had a great stay at the Hotel du Vieux Marais. Check in was easy, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable. The beds are a bit short but worked great for my friend and I. The hotel even faces a quiet street in a hip neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is nothing like it states on bookings. The owner speaks to you like your a child giving you numerous rules . It has no restraunt but insist you must not take any food or drinks of any kind to your room . It has no tear coffee making vasilities either . The rooms are so small and pokey and have only one PowerPoint that works under a small desk in the corner which you have to crawl under to use . The other one on the wall near the door is broken and dangerous falling out of wall . The one in bathroom only works for shavers which hair dryer doesn't work on . The bathroom is very mouldy and walls are dirty in bith rooms. Amenities I shampoo and 2 small soaps. One afternoon we were asked to go to the owners office as she Was too lazy to come to front desk to speak to us to complain there was some face foundation on the towel which she couldn't remove as she washes towels etc herself she was very upset . I don't seem to have that problem at my home towels come up spotless . The office staff were polite and helpful . The area was great and handy to metro restraunts etc. I would never stay at this hotel again . Rooms are size of postage stamp and dirty .
