Hotel de l'Aqueduc

A surprisingly comfortable bed!! The room was of a good size, good shower. Perfect to crash and sleep after a long day of walking around Paris. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it!

I stayed two nights, but I couldn’t sleep at all because of the noise. It was not a hotel’s fault, but many young people were talking at midnight in front of the hotel, and I heard it clearly even if I closed the windows, and it made me difficult to sleep. However, the staff of reception, especially in the morning, was really kind. And the location is good.

It’s super close to Gare du Nord (8 min walk) which is useful if you need to get the Eurostar. Rooms are clean and simple, the stay is good value for the price.

Well located for Gare d’Nord station and in a relatively quiet location for the area, this is ok for a one night stopover. I wouldn’t want to stay any longer. My room was OK. Being on the ground floor right off of the courtyard where smokers are encouraged to congregate it was a bit noisy, but not too bad. The bed was fine but the toilet was minute. I am big but not that big, and I struggled to squeeze in. Breakfast was a bit average considering it cost 15 Euros. Hot food was thin on the ground and arrived irregularly. But basically OK providing standard continental fare at decent quality. Value for money was reasonable. Be aware that they take a 100 Euro security deposit (a sure sign of a not too classy hotel) on arrival, which is a bit of a pain, plus you have to pay a tourist tax but I suppose that is the case for all Paris hotels. Staff helpful and friendly. Overall not great but decent enough for an overnight stay.

The room was very small and the toilets are really tiny one person can barely fit in the shower The breakfast did not have enough offer and a few items (such as the butter) were expired and other to be expired on the day The room smelled like sewers most nights and it was coming from the toilet The walls are really thin so we could hear conversations in the rooms next to us and above us. You can hear trains untill late night. There’s a club nearby so at weekends you’ll hear a LOT of noise coming from there Statt was not unpleasant but weren’t warm either.
