I will never stay at this hotel again. Despite the staff being very friendly and welcoming. The bases of the hotel does not hold 4 star standards. I was able to check in the hotel way before check-in time the hotel was overbooked for the day I arrived. I assume the maid/staff was behind on cleaning rooms and did not do a full cleaning so I cleaned what I could and went from there. When I walked into my room( the classic or basic room), I noticed that the (not-free) mini bar was not restocked, and there is was a drink, already opened and halfway drank, along with the snacks and tea, or coffee that was never restocked. I am not sure if I was compensated, but they did give me mineral water on my last night staying. They never restocked anything from the mini bar and just tidied up my room after requesting a recleaning. This is also when I found out that whoever cleaned my room took my personal face towel mistaking it for the Hotel’s towels( there was only two small towels given, and I had only used one and left the rest on the floor to be taken) I’m not sure how they mistake my towel as the hotels but I’m not even sure I’ll be able to be compensated. On my last day I had a really rough night and wanted to sleep in. Unfortunately, that was short-lived by the fire alarm going off at eight in the morning prompting an evacuation. I also think the location is a far far from everything and not easy access to a metro or bus line. Highly I would not recommend this place.

Stayed for 5 nights. Lovely area with bistros around. Took about 15 mins to walk to the Arc from here. Room was spotless. Lacked wardrobe space but that wasn’t a problem for me. Staff are super friendly. Breakfast was continental and great choice. We aren’t picky and have no allergies. Rooms cleaned daily. Room has a coffee machine but the lobby also has one free to use. I’d recommend this hotel it’s in a lovely area. Bed was comfy. Hairdryer slippers and toiletries included. Thanks for a wonderful base to see your amazing city XO

The hotel is in a smart and safe area (17 Arr.). It takes about 40 mins to get there by metro from Gare du Nord and there 2 or 3 metro stops within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. Our room was a superior double between the lifts and was a reasonable size and well equipped with coffee machine and kettle plus robe and slippers. Storage space was a bit limited but okay for a short visit. The bed and pillows were really comfy. There was also a free safe and reasonably fast free WiFi. One minor disappointment was that the usb port on the TV was disabled and I didn't bring an hdmi adapter so TV was a bit limited. It was a big smart TV but no apps like apple or netflix as no internet connection. We did at least improve our french by watching french TV. You could here a rumble from the lifts but I don't think it woke us at any point. The room was on the courtyard side and very quiet. Location wise it was a safe upmarket area with many shops and eateries within an easy walk. The Arc De Triomphe is about a 20 min walk and you can walk down to the Seine, galleries etc in under an hour or use one of the nearby metro stops (Courcelles, Periere, Ternes) to get all over the city. The bistro over the road from the hotel is good and there are dozens of other places from local bistros, takeaways to Michelin star restaurants within walking distance. There was plenty of choice for breakfast but not enough staff so it took while for things to be replenished. It would be useful to have some spare plates and cups somewhere so you didn't have to hunt for them. Quality of food was good when you could get it but not the most relaxed start to the day. Overall a good stay for our short break. Reception staff we spoke to were really helpful. Breakfast staff a bit stressed out due to low numbers. I noticed another reviewer had an issue with payment. The hotel put a hold on the first night as a proof of payment method/pre-authorisation if booking direct. This took a month to clear the hold on my account which was a bit of a pain but hotel explained by email which reassured me the block would be removed. It would be better to take and refund one euro or take a deposit as it takes time for blocks to remove on overseas debit cards and means you can't access the funds

A nice hotel and not far from a Metro station. Breakfast was ok, but not replenished quickly so it felt like that it was last pickings... a notice explaining about having to boil your own eggs would be good as this was something that a few people didn't realise so lots of eggs wasted on the couple of mornings that we were there. Rooms are on the small side but comfortable and nicely decorated. I would use again if I came back to Paris

Super cute boutique-like hotel in the heart of the city center - within walking distance to many major attractions, shopping, dining and the Metro. The staff is friendly and welcoming - they provided just the guidance we needed for navigating Paris by walking and Metro. Our room was sufficient size, cute, clean and comfy. The lobby, lounge and dining areas are cozy and nicely adorned. The breakfast offerings are delightful and the waitstaff is friendly. The only drawbacks were, the A/C settings must have been off for the season since it was chilly outside, but I'm a hot sleeper and need an extra cool environment to sleep comfortably. And the partial glass shower wall did very little to prevent water from getting all over the bathroom floor. Luckily, I was able to open the window at night to cool things off a little, and housekeeping replaced the bath mat daily. I'd definitely stay at the XO Hotel Paris again and I highly recommend it to others.

Amazing property with the best staff ever. The Sunday night check in with Ollie was great, but every day and night the reception staff went way beyond my expectations. This hotel is beautifully remodeled in a quaint neighborhood. The lobby decor and hotel room are so quaint. The breakfast is a fantastic way to start the day. I was so comfortable here. It is now my official “go to place” in Paris. 5 stars!!

I had previously stayed at this hotel with no issues. However, after booking directly through their website this time around. The customer service has been awful. At the point of purchase, the terms stipulated that zero deposit was required and full payment was required upon arrival. However less than 24 hours after the booking was made they attempted to remove 25% of the cost from my account. The payment was declined and I received an email asking why the payment didn’t go through. I outlined the terms at booking, their response ignored my points and once again demanded payment within 24hrs or the booking would be cancelled. I will be cancelling my booking due to their unprofessional business policies.

Stayed over new years. Staff were always friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great also as there was a good selection and bonus, there were takeaway cups for coffee in case you wanted to grab one to go! We booked the suite Desiree room and would definitely recommend it. Spacious and comfortable and had all the creature comforts you would expect from a great hotel. Whilst the location is not super central, it’s a short walk to the metro station, a supermarket and some great cafes/ restaurants. The location being not super central is actually a positive because you’re away from all the tourist trap restaurants and get to experience a more local lifestyle. Would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

We’ve stayed in so many hotels in Paris over the years and this is the best one so far. Immaculately clean, large rooms, comfy bed and pillows, huge tv screen and several tables and chairs with enough room for all your clothes. The lift is large and being on the 5th floor meant a wonderfully quiet time spent throughout our stay. The staff are very friendly and speak good English There is a huge selection of hot and cold food at the buffet breakfast. Well worth booking. There is a bar and two lounges with a self service wine cabinet. Small Metro trip to the centre of Paris but the hotel is in a quiet, upmarket neighbourhood near to the Park Monceau which is a bonus.
