Overall, I really enjoyed this sweet, somewhat quirky, unique, charming little boutique hotel. When I first checked in, I was given a tiny little room with a tiny bathroom. Would have been rather uncomfortable to stay in for a week. So, I inquired about it at the front desk, and they graciously moved me the next day to a much larger room with three lovely windows looking out to the street. I stayed the week and really enjoyed my time exploring the area (Le Marais) and Paris, and then coming back to this charming hotel each afternoon. The breakfast served in the quaint lower level dining room was tasty and well-appointed. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I think the key with staying at this hotel is making sure you get the right room. If you look at the photos of the rooms, they are all very different. Some look even nicer than the larger room I was ultimately given. Some appear to have very nicely updated, modern bathrooms, while other bathrooms are older and a bit cramped. But this is the city of Paris! I'd much rather stay at a charming boutique hotel like this than a standard hotel that you could find in just about any city around the world. C'est magnifique!
