Hotel Home Latin

i had no choice but to check out earlier due to the hotel being so bad first of all when we arrived none of the plug sockets worked so the sent 3 men plus the receptionist in to the room to play with the electric for over 2h 30 min only to have 2 working socks and could not use any of the thing like kettle or fan as it could blow the electric agen as we were told all this going on ment that we could not get ready to go out ,when we where left alone when hand no time to get ready or have a shower or do hair properly we only just made it for the performance and had to loses the our meal due to being late which cost atot when we came back we looked in the to the bath room only to find plaster on the floor and bug in the sink and electrical covering open in the bath room and also mould on the wall in the shower and the view in the room was disgusting looking out on to the messy hole on the building and to top it off when I told the manager that I'm checking out he was rude and I told him and showed him the picture I ask I'm if we could get a refund for miss advertising the hotel with all pictures nothing like the hotel even the reception was a mess and he said no and he would not even give us back out travel tax as we were not staying the night there and had to repay it in another hotel

Location in the Latin Quarters is great. Near the the Notre Dame, and if you like walking, near the Louvre, the Tuiliries Gardens, Luxemburg Palace and Gardens, and again if you LOVE walking - can walk to most major attractions including the Effiel Tower, and the museums. Good mix of restaurants in the neighborhood too. The hotel? No airconditioning in the rooms - good for Spring/ Fall and Winter, but be careful during Summer months. They provide fans but will probably not be enough for the heat. Also, it is I think a residential converted to a hotel. There is an elevator but be careful if they place you in the attic as you need to use one flight of circular stairs - difficult if you have heavy luggage.

Perfect location, stunning room, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff. Definitely staying here again in future.

Overall is good, but some minors are: the lock of our bathroom is broken. No AC in the room (which is understandable), there is a tower fan in the room, but it does not spin or swing, so it gets quite hot during the night. However, surprisingly there’s a fridge inside our room. Hotel offers cold and hot water for refill, the staffs are really nice, the location is good, hygiene is acceptable.

Check in was quick and easy ,room was ready when we arrived at lunch time .Breakfast was good with a wide variety to choose from .The room was quite nice except the bathroom which needed some tlc . We were staying 3 nights however on the second day the cleaner knocked at door at 4.45 to clean the room as we had just arrived back in from being out all day we told her to leave it that say but the next day she didn't clean it either we had to ask to get it cleaned ,it was cleaned straight away but felt we shouldn't have had to ask ,apart from these two issues the stay was fine and it's in a good location for Notre Dam cathedral and there are some lovely resturants nearby .
