Living here is because of the location, which is very convenient for sightseeing, shopping and subway access. Outside the window is Madeleine Church Square, five minutes' walk to the north is Paris Spring, seven or eight minutes' walk to the south is Place de la Concorde, and there are two subway intersections at the door. Station, surrounded by restaurants. The hotel facilities are typical of small European hotels, clean and orderly but a bit old and small, the breakfast is minimal, and the overall experience is not bad. The only drawback is that the water in the bathroom basin is very slow, which is okay.

Well-located for a Paris trip, if the purpose to visit many of the most popular tourist sights. The decor and general look of the hotel ooze of quality and old charm. Rooms were fine and so is the service. Breakfast is also fine, however after4 days with the same, it becomes a little boring. Price tag of two rooms for a family of four is also a bit of a burden. But then again, everything in Paris is pricy.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Madeleine Plaza. We booked a deluxe room which had a lovely view of the Madeleine Church. The hotel is conveniently located near metro and bus stations but is also within walking distance to several attractions. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was quite large for a European hotel. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, but there are also several cafes in the area. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this property.

I choose this hotel due mostly due its location, despite I believe it is overpriced for the overall experience I thought I'd give it a try and booked a deluxe room with view on the Madeleine; location is good and generally staff is polite and helpful. I called before arriving to the hotel asking if they could avoid the first floor, and was told it was not a problem as all the corner of the building had the same view and category. Upon check in we were assigned to the first floor and when I asked about getting another room I was told by front office that my room was the only one in the category and that those above were a different category. This is absolutely not true and of course when reception staff is not telling the truth just to cover a mistake it put me in a bad mood, they could simply say that the other rooms were already occupied, but the staff preferred not telling the truth instead of admitting genuine mistake. Next morning at breakfast I immediately understand why there were several comments about it, it was correct but basic for international travellers; I am aware that each county has different breakfast but as I was living in Paris for a few years, knowing the standard in the city I found breakfast indeed quiet basic. We noticed that they served only one type of sliced meat and that was ham (pork), at that point we asked reception if they could provide alternative meat for people who did not eat pork, not based on religion but simply for a matter of choice and health. All hotels providing sliced meat at breakfast do always provide at least one alternative and usually it is sliced chicken. Of course our request was denied and despite we were staying for three days and therefore they cold have arrange to have some for next next day as a kind gesture, by showing flexibility and easily solve the problem why making the guests happy they decided to stick on inflexibility and not to take any action. On top of it there were two warm items , scramble eggs and bacon and we noticed that some of the bacon (accidentally) ended up in the scramble eggs, like it can happen in those shaving dished when people are serving themselves. What should a person who is used to savoury breakfast eat when not eating pork? The worst part is that when the manager replied to my written complain about eh breakfast part she replied that they do not offer Halal products because they want to be religion neutral... At NO point we mentioned religion nor asked for Halal but simply to a diet choice and allergy, which is even regulated by EU. Just small example to see that the staff is not communicating correctly as they passed on the wrong info to the manager as the reason behind our request was different, but then again only one type of meat...? The worst part was that after the first night I started to have back pain, which increased on the second night and finally last night I could hardly sleep, after swapping bed side (there were two single mattress on a d

We were visiting our daughter who is finishing up college in Paris this semester. My husband, teenage son, and I were very comfortable for 6 nights in double connecting rooms facing the Madeleine Church. Pros included location, a 24-hour manned front desk, breakfast buffet, daily room cleaning if you request, and a very nice neighborhood with a great restaurant next door open until 1 am. I enjoyed having a bathtub, but I did miss having a makeup mirror. The bathrooms are pretty small & not the best lighting, so I really could've used that for contacts/make-up. But, overall, I was very pleased with this hotel for the price point, and I think the staff works extra hard to provide excellent service to guests. I would absolutely stay again, and I always grade high for service. A solid 4 stars for facility, 5+ stars for service. Merci!

Spent one night at the Madeleine Plaza on business. This is a small hotel in a superb location in the heart of Paris. In terms of location, indeed, it would be hard to beat. I had a small room overlooking the Madeleine church. it was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. That said, its facilities were somewhat basic. The bathroom was a little old-fashioned and there was no easy chair, which one would expect in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was rather basic, though adequate. Lounge facilities were very poor. There was no bar. This is a 3.5 star at best. It’s not cheap at around €300 per night. It’s perfectly adequate and its location is excellent. However, I suspect there are better deals to be ad in the vicinity.

The staff and personnel of the hotel were gracious hosts who saw to all of our needs to perfection. From helping with lost baggage to getting new medicines that were lost to restaurant recommendations and reservations they were eager and ready to help. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable.

The moment you walk through the doors you are greeted by the kind and warm staff. They are there to make everything perfect, which they did. Two of our rooms were ready early and we were so pleased to find beautiful windows that could open so we could enjoy the sounds of Paris. Located next to the Church of Sainte Marie-Madeleine and by the Metro made getting around easy. There was no lack of restaurants within a five minute walk . The breakfast is a must do. Everything was delicious and fresh! The beds were comfy and rooms spotless. For a wonderful stay in Paris with the kindest and most helpful staff around don’t hesitate to stay at the Hotel Madeleine Plaza.
