2205528****This Spring Festival, we chose to travel by car. On the way back to Beijing, we encountered heavy snow. Faced with the closure of the highway and the inability to drive on the provincial road, we chose to rest in Taiyuan. We were very embarrassed and waited for the snow to stop.
The first time we went to Taiyuan, we chose the La Quinta Wyndham Hotel, which was closest to us.
During the hotel check-in process, including dining, there were some minor problems because there were many stranded customers at the time. I also got angry with the hotel staff. At this time, the restaurant manager Chen Feilong gave very professional help and service, and there was also a tall hotel manager who helped us solve all the problems, allowing us to feel warmth and love in hunger and cold.
Although the sudden bad weather made the trip a little unsatisfactory, Wyndham's professional and warm service made up for all the regrets and gave a five-star rating!

GGuest UserCould not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

TTarraleahExcellent location directly across the road from Maoye Plaza which is one of Taiyuan’s best shopping and dining destinations. The location means there’s a bit of traffic noise, and my room also had a bit of noise from the restaurant kitchen which was straight above, but it was all tolerable, especially for the convenience of the location. The room was very comfortable well-equipped, but cleanliness was a little down on what it should have been. Reception staff were most friendly and helpful, very quickly and happily helping when I had difficulty connecting to wifi. The breakfast was very good, with a healthy and tasty range of Chinese vegetable and meat dishes, salads, fruits, and more. I would very happily stay here again!

TTracie WestMy stay at Wutong Apartments was wonderful! The room was clean, spacious, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. There is bathtub is luxurious and spacious, the shower has great pressure and the the separate toilet room has a motion censored toilet seat and a bidet. The bed was comfy and the closet space begs you to unpack your suitcase. There were thoughtful amenities, including a loofah cloth and shoe shine cloths. Now...the breakfast. It was the best breakfast buffet I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Tinder and well seasoned steak, salmon, soups, desserts, breads, scrumptious pancakes and a salad bar that even included kale amongst the varied greens. Best of all, the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Li Ne, the dining staff and the housekeeper who attended to my room. I wish that every hotel stay I experience in the future is as amazing as my time at Wutong Apartment Hotel.

GGuest UserMy stay here was truly fantastic! The hotel's service was incredibly warm and attentive, making me feel thoroughly looked after right from the moment I checked in. The front desk staff even proactively offered a complimentary room upgrade. The new room was spacious, bright, and well-appointed, with incredibly comfortable bedding that made it easy to relax instantly. Throughout my stay, every member of staff, from housekeeping to the restaurant team, consistently displayed genuine smiles and a thoughtful, caring attitude, which made me feel incredibly welcome and valued. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being just a few minutes' walk from Taiyuan South Railway Station. This stay completely exceeded my expectations, with the hotel's thoughtfulness and attention to detail evident in every aspect. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanxi!

CChifanbuchicai-As soon as I entered the hotel, the front desk greeted me warmly. The staff was very nice. Since the hotel room was not cleaned, they helped me upgrade to a king-size bed room for free. They also gave me souvenirs, which were very convenient to take with me.
The hotel room is also very large. The shampoo and shower gel are all travel-sized. If you can't use them up, you can take them away! The room is spacious and the hygiene is in place. Every little corner is taken care of and it is cleaned very cleanly. There is also free afternoon tea in the afternoon, and the ice cream is also delicious~ The location is also very good, just near the train station, about 15 minutes walk away, the room price is more than 200, the cost performance is super high! I will come again next time~

TTheTravelShowThe hotel itself is located out in the far Northeast of the city, in a quiet location, but easily accessible by the fast roads. It is opposite a shopping mall with everything you need such as coffee shop, fast food etc. Conveniece store also just across the street. Check-in was easy and straight-forward and the hotel is clean and modern. The room was well-appointed with everything I needed and the best thing was the amazing bed, which was super-comfortable!
Breakfast is excellent and has both Western and Chinese buffet options. Plenty of choice here!
Service was fantastic for this stay. The second day we had a power blackout for an hour or so because of engineers across the street. The staff dealt with it very well and made sure I was looked after. Swimming pool is good too. Recommend.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, with Vientiane City nearby. It is also very convenient to drive to Jinci Temple, Botanical Garden and other attractions. Parking is available at the door and there are plenty of parking spaces. You can see the Fen River from the room, and you can also see the night view of the Grand Theater, Library, and Bronze Museum at night. The room was cleaned very well, the breakfast was rich in variety, and the front desk was very efficient. However, no one came to help take the luggage upstairs when checking in, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes when I took the elevator twice.

We can only put it in the aisle. . .
