If I don't bring the baby, the baby is too small to get up in the morning, I will follow the sunrise! It is rare to live in the city for a long time, and it is rare to see the original ecological mountain view. , In terms of address location, it is very quiet when sleeping at night. It is very close to the main street and the main gate building of Tang'an Dongzhai. It takes a short walk to the flat road and then a short step to get there. The homestay is not facing the street, but take two steps to go out to the main street. There is a place to eat and drink coffee nearby. , Overall this stay experience is great! I shared with my friends and said that I want to come to National Day haha, it's a good place.

Great hotel that offers value for money. It is located only 100 meters from the main street and you can do a really nice walk in two hours to Tang'an that offers nice views over the rice paddies (just follow the main road and then the signs that clearly mark a path). The room is small and simple but offers everything and the hotel lobby has an exquisite view of the village. It also has a small rooftop with a few seats to watch the sun set. Overall a nice experience!

Traveling to Zhaoxing Dong Village during the off-season, I stumbled upon Zhaoxing No. 1 Boutique Homestay, and it was truly a delightful surprise! The overall quality and attentive service are absolutely on par with five-star standards – an amazing experience. Especially their breakfast rice noodles, they were so authentic and flavorful, I was hooked after one bite, absolutely delicious. My stay was comfortable and peaceful, I genuinely and highly recommend it. Next time I visit the Dong Village, this will definitely be my first choice again!

The Lanche B&B has brand new room facilities with modern amenities. Although the village outside is old, the interior of the guesthouse is very cozy. The room offers great views, which are a real treat for the eyes. They also provide free Dong ethnic costumes for photoshoots, and the hostess is exceptionally warm and outgoing. She's very keen to share Dong customs with guests, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Her tour guidance is excellent, and she even personally accompanies guests to help take photos, and her photography skills are superb! She's always ready to help and answer any questions. I would absolutely love to visit again. Many thanks to the hostess for her hospitality.

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom shower was also clean and tidy, with a separate shower and toilet area. The receptionist provided free pick-up and drop-off service to and from the Dong village. He was always available, punctual, and very helpful! Inquiries were answered quickly, and the information provided was useful. I spent a day and a night here, visiting Zhaoxing Dong Village and Tang'an Rice Terraces. I had a wonderful time!

Me and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had! There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by. Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend. On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix. It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family. We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3 If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Fantastic stay at Bula Lakeside Hotel! Clean room with amazing lake view at the beginning of Zhaoxing Dong village. Hot water and heating worked without any problems. WIFI also worked. I would like to thank the staff the most - the girl at the reception who we communicated with via WeChat and a translator. We are foreigners who don't speak Chinese and she didn't speak English, but we managed everything. Also the gentleman who came to the train station to pick us up to make our way to the hotel easier. We also appreciate his cooking skills as he prepared a perfect dinner for us. I absolutely recommend this hotel and if we ever come back, we will stay here again. Thank you again for the nice time.

The Dong village in the off-season was such a great place to explore, and our room was incredibly comfortable and affordable. It was my first time here, and I booked this place on a whim. As soon as we entered, we saw a sign made with local batik fabric. The friendly young man and woman at the front desk even upgraded us to a lake-view room for free, which we really appreciated! They were also very responsive whenever we needed anything. When we checked in, they gave us a simple guide and reminded us about the performance times at the scenic area. Buying performance tickets through them was even cheaper than buying directly at the park. The only minor drawback was the light rain when we first arrived, which made getting around a bit inconvenient. However, it didn't spoil the experience; in fact, the misty night view had its own unique charm. What was an even bigger surprise was that the owner offers a Yao ethnic minority herbal bath experience. After a full day of walking, soaking my tired legs was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. I forgot to take a picture, but the whole experience was just fantastic!!!

We booked a twin room on the third floor. The beds and bedding were quite comfortable and clean. We didn't encounter any bugs or mosquitoes, unlike what some other reviews mentioned. The ceiling on the third floor might feel a little low, making it a bit less airy than the second-floor rooms our friends stayed in, but it also has a unique charm. However, near the window, probably due to the natural surroundings, there were some cobwebs that I had to clear when closing the window. Since it's a wooden building, the soundproofing wasn't great, and it could get a bit noisy from next door at times. We reported it, and the owner immediately spoke to us about it. Overall, it was still a pretty good stay.

Highly recommend! We stayed here in April with our kids and everything about Zhaoxing Dong village and this hotel is so heartwarming and memorable! A trip we will remember forever! The owner is from Yunnan. He and all the staff are incredibly helpful, kind and friendly! Communication was clear before we arrived. They messaged us on WeChat and picked us up from the train station and brought our luggage to the hotel. The breakfast lady makes the most delicious soup noodle every morning and the hami melon is so sweet! Breakfast is served on the rooftop and the view in the morning is so serene as the town is still quiet. The hotel was even were so kind to make a bowl of soup noodle when our kids were not feeling well one evening. And the breakfast lady personally walked me to a local shop that sells handmade herbal shampoo to help promote healthy hair! I was so moved by her friendliness to share the towns local best kept secrets. There is a free green shuttle that picks up every few blocks within the town: this was very handy when traveling with kids who get tired from walking easily.
