GGuest UserI like living in Dongzha, it is quiet and comfortable, the air is good, the scenery is good, the location of the B&B is super good, not far from the entrance of Dongzha, the boss is very nice, pick us up, the B&B is very clean, the window is facing the river, sitting and drinking tea is very leisurely

GGuest UserAs the hotel is situated within the Xizha Scenic Area, we booked a package deal. It included two adult admission tickets, complimentary rides on the scenic shuttle bus, boat tickets, and breakfast. The check-in process required us to first go to the Xizha Tourist Center, then take the scenic shuttle bus to the hotel's front desk for facial recognition. This was quite frustrating, especially given the sweltering heat and the long wait for both the elderly and children. Fortunately, the gentleman at the lobby front desk was very kind. Noticing we were a family, he upgraded us to a suite, which he described as the hotel's best view room. It featured a living room and two separate bedrooms, offering panoramic views of the entire scenic area and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Once we settled in, the room truly exceeded our expectations. This positive review is definitely well-deserved! The breakfast spread was incredibly varied and delicious; everyone ate until they were stuffed!

GGuest UserService is impeccable, staff provided very personalised butler service. Location is awesome. Staff provided personalised pick up service, avoided crowds and fast pass check in. Hotel gifted us with two lovely tubs of tea. Buggy service to indoor pool in nearby hotel. Breakfast also in nearby hotel.
Tv was too small when watching from bed. Do consider installing a bigger TV.

EEUC riderFantastic rooms. Very large and well appointed. Restaurants don’t do well for vegans but otherwise fine. Service in the Paulaner bar was slow with only one server the evening we tried it. It’s not cheap but it’s very good value for what you get. I’ve stayed twice and would definitely stay again. Recommended if you want to be near the train station.

KKazzy travelerInspirok Hotel Tongxiang- First time back in Tongxiang after 4 years. 7 nights in a spacious ”Business Room” in building B with 2 very firm king single beds that gave me a sore upper back. (I don't have back problems normally...) Flat pillows. The hopeless Air-conditioning struggled to get to an absolute low of 23C and was noisy. (32C days and 26C nights.). Huge bathroom with bath. Flow limited shower with hand shower and rain shower. Mostly quiet due to reduced occupancy and outside traffic. Good blockout curtains. International power points with USB power but you must have an earth pin if you want to use an Aussie plug. (Or risk manually pushing up the earth lockout.) Many free english movies available now on the tv in reasonable quality. One thing that I found particularly handy was that a small tube of liquid laundry detergent is supplied and some hooks above the bath.
There was no bar fridge in my room on arrival but one was quickly supplied, gratis, when I asked. (Empty).
Large shopping mall one block from the hotel and small 7-eleven type shop very near the front entrance where you can buy tsing taos for 6rmb.
The included buffet breakfast was pretty average with fewer choices and poorer quality than similar 5* hotels. Very average automatic coffee machines and coffee pots. It was also so overcrowded on the Sunday- with a convention booking- that many people could not be seated. Most mornings it was reasonably quiet.
Excellent room service Indonesian fried rice. I also had the ”all you can eat” buffet a couple of nights but thought that it was over priced for the quality of food available at 138RMB (approx 30aud.)
Reasonable wifi access throughout the hotel and I was able to read my Gmail but not send it. (I couldn't even download it in Jiangsu.)
There is no option on the Trip booking page to ask for 'special requests” for this hotel. Also no option to ask for a non smoking floor and I wasn't asked at check-in. Very annoying.

GGuest UserStaying within the scenic area this time was incredibly good value. Our children absolutely loved the hotel's layout. The facilities are new and smart, with readily available filtered drinking water. The front desk staff were warm and incredibly helpful, assisting with luggage and arranging taxis, making transportation effortless. They also provided complimentary luggage assistance, free use of the Xizha Scenic Area shuttle, and complimentary Xizha Scenic Area tickets, all offering multiple entries and exits to the scenic area. The shuttle service runs non-stop 24/7. The scenic area itself is exceptionally well-managed. We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay.

GGuest UserThe room was beautiful, featuring a classic, antique charm, and was exceptionally clean. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive. When I was heading out at night, worried it might rain, they thoughtfully stopped me to offer an umbrella. In the morning, before I left, they even presented me with a selection of Wuzhen's special local souvenirs and enthusiastically gave me directions, making me feel like I was receiving warm advice from a family elder. Their hospitality was truly heartwarming. The guesthouse is also ideally located, only a short walk from Xizha Scenic Area.

WWaitandaiwangI give Alila Wuzhen a full score! This hotel was the biggest surprise of my trip to Wuzhen.
Guest Room:
I was upgraded to a garden villa room with an area of 145 square meters and an indoor area of 78 square meters. Visually, it feels large, and the living room and bedroom are designed as one. Although it is large, it does not feel empty.
The long corridor design of the bathroom space is well-thought-out. There is skylight on the top. They pour down, white and layered, which makes me, the occupant, feel bright and happy all of a sudden.
There is floor heating to resist the dampness and coldness of Jiangnan in winter.
The seemingly inconspicuous guest room welcome food is a small surprise and great care. It is a small pastry with coconut shreds, which looks like Jiangnan pastries. It is small, beautiful and delicious. The white snow-like coconut shreds are laid below. Does it mean snowing in winter? Unexpectedly, there is also a bottle of whiskey-like flat bottle of water. Looking more closely, it is the hotel's homemade jasmine white hair.
Food and Beverage:
Overall, it is quite high.
In the morning, we had a buffet with Wuzhen mutton noodles and eggs Benedict.
At Sanbai Bar, I experienced their newly launched afternoon tea for Spring Festival with my friends. At first glance, I felt festive. The red date wolfberry latte and the ”good news peanuts” with peanut crumbs left a deep impression.
Design:
It's easy to make a photo. I like it. The design company GOA is amazing.
What impressed me most was the abstract geometric architectural forms in this area presented between the sky and the water. The reflections are flowing and uncertain. It is also an expression of architectural order related to nature, expressing the hotel designer's understanding and innovative interpretation of traditional spatial aesthetics.
By the way, I saw egrets in the hotel!

Remarkable.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, meticulous care was like a shadow. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and professional, quickly checked in, and introduced the hotel restaurant, bar and other building locations.
Because Alila Wuzhen emphasizes the design of dramatic scenes, when I first arrived that day, it was like being in a Jiangnan maze. When I went to restaurants and bars, I met randomly uncles and aunts trimming plants and gave me enthusiastic guidance. I am grateful to them for taking me there.
