I usually steer clear of guesthouses, preferring the standardized management of hotels, even though I know many boast unique charm. However, on this trip to Dongbi, where guesthouses were the only option, both establishments, especially Fengchui Banxia, completely overturned my preconceived notions – I was thoroughly impressed! The guesthouse is situated right next to the popular Shijianhai, making its views and location absolutely prime. It's also exceptionally well-maintained, feeling a bit like the hotel-style management you'd find in Wuzhen, but with a much warmer, more personal touch. On the first-floor bar, there's a complimentary selection of Sprite, Coke, and Fanta. While it's a small detail, returning from a day out and being able to grab an ice-cold can from the fridge to beat the heat is incredibly pleasant and satisfying! Another thoughtful detail for us was that both beds were spacious 1.5-meter doubles. The room itself was large, bright, and impeccably clean! Five stars!

It was clear that the management had put great thought into ensuring guests' maximum comfort and relaxation. One of the standout features for me was the tea house. Being able to sip on freshly brewed tea while looking out over the sea was a simple yet luxurious pleasure. Whether it was watching the sun dip below the horizon in the evening or enjoying a peaceful morning with the golden sunrise, the views were always stunning. This property truly offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and unwind in style. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel makes no compromises when it comes to hospitality. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile and helpful suggestion. The location was also ideal—close enough to local attractions and amenities, yet secluded enough to offer peace and quiet. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It’s more than just a place to stay—it's a destination where comfort, beauty, and warm service come together to create unforgettable memories. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of the coast, this is the perfect choice. My stay here was nothing short of exceptional, and I can’t wait to return.

They don't charge a cleaning fee for pets, and there's an elevator, which made moving luggage very convenient. Upon arrival, we got a room upgrade. The living room on the fourth floor offered great views for both sunrise and sunset. The auntie was very welcoming, and the fishball noodles she cooked for breakfast were absolutely delicious 😋. It's not far from Xiaohao Beach. You can borrow an electric scooter to ride there, or even a leisurely walk isn't tiring.

This is a newly opened homestay in September this year. It is very distinctive and full of details. It is designed with care. The configuration is high standards. It is very ins style. The breakfast is very local. It is delicious. The boss is very enthusiastic and will give you travel guides. I traveled all the way to Kasumigaura with my dog ​​and chose to stay here. The B&B facilities are very new and well maintained, and the rooms are very clean. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is the sea view of Kasumigaura, and the location is excellent. There is also a projector in the room, which is great for watching movies while lying down at night. The location of the B&B is right in Dongbi Village, making it very convenient to go out for fun and eat.

My friends and I loved our stay here! The room was clean and well equipped with a big window, though the view wasn’t scenic like the pictures appear. The shower was great with lots of hooks, and a little laundry basket beside. Only issue is the toilet is electric and a little loud when used at night. The beds were incredibly comfy! The hostess was friendly and sent us recommended routes and restaurants, plus sent me a video showing me where to find the car charging station. Breakfast was simple eggs, soup, youtiao, siu mai, and corn milk. The downstairs dining are is lovely and cosy and we spent a few evenings relaxing downstairs. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to Dongbi Village for an amazing dinner with a view, but close to the toll booth leading to the main roads if you want to head south or north to Taimu Shan or the peninsula beaches.

The homestay is about1.5 kilometers away from Dongbi Village. The environment is clean and tidy. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room have a panoramic view of the scenery outside the window. The breakfast is Chinese breakfast. The nutrition and health are pleasing to the eye. The boss is warm and strongly recommended. The tide is just right, the sun is just right, Experienced the sea, it is recommended!

I decided to travel here on the spur of the moment, and I have to say that I was quite pleasantly surprised by this B&B. The people at the front desk were very welcoming when I entered. The most important thing is their room. It is very comfortable to walk in. The sanitary environment is very clean. Their toiletries are disposable, which is more hygienic and can be avoided. Some unclean things, mainly due to the safety hazards of accommodation, are exposed on the Internet now, so they are very good here. I stayed in a room facing the sea, and I could look at the sea view while lying on the bed. It was very comfortable, and They have a great view here, directly facing the sea. They will also prepare some tea sets, lounge chairs and the like for us to use in the room. It is very suitable for little sisters to travel together. I recommend this place. It is very good. I accidentally choked on a fishbone while eating breakfast, and Ms. Xiaoli incredibly quickly and surgically removed it with tweezers. Thank you so much!! 🙏🙏🙏 Now, let's talk about the rooms. We stayed for two nights. The first night we stayed at Shuiyuan Huaxin, and the second night we were upgraded to Chunmei. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable, with sophisticated and stylish decor. Chunmei is much, much larger, with a loft layout, large floor-to-ceiling windows, a large bathtub, and a projector. You can see the sunset beautifully from inside, making it perfect for lounging all day. However, Shuiyuan Courtyard is probably one of the best outdoor viewing spots, with a private pool, tea room, and a balcony with a fireplace and a long table. The housekeepers were fantastic, a group of cheerful young people who were incredibly helpful and responsive to almost every request. They helped with everything from carrying our luggage and arranging check-in in advance to providing baseboard heaters when the weather got colder, delivering sweet soup every night, and even bringing laundry and a dryer for us. They also brought our drinks and food from the Chinese and Western restaurants to our room – very thoughtful. The food at the restaurants was delicious! After comparing several options, we preferred this place. This New Year's Eve was primarily a vacation, so we wanted to choose a place that was comfortable and relaxing in every way. Shijianhai met almost all our needs. For a lively, large group, Shuiyuan is a good choice; for a smaller, more relaxing group, Chunmei is recommended.

We stayed only one night and were surprised by the size modernity and cleanliness of the room! It had a small entrance with chairs and a table and two big beds. The bathroom had special lights settings and all different toiletries of good quality. The only minus was the breakfast as we read in other reviews it was on the top floor whereas we only received a small plastic box the night before ( they wanted it to deliver it at 10pm and we asked for 9pm) with only a few things (milk, one egg, one fruit, two small pastries).
