Overall, it was pretty good, though there were a few small bugs, which is unavoidable. One thing that was a bit frustrating was the echoing in Old Dengfong, and the locals love to gather and talk loudly in the mornings—I'm not saying it's extremely loud, but it starts very early. It's really hard to get a good night's sleep; if you're going, you'd better get up early.

Excellent historical place, upgraded with top-notch rooms, in a great location, just across from the local Museum for the Optimi of the Qing civil service examinations. The hotel is privately owned and managed by a lovely old couple who live on the premises. Not sure how it works if you do not know Chinese, but with Chinese they are fabulously nice, helpful and chatty. This was a rich people's mansion which had been, as many such buildings in China's history, confiscated and subdivided between many poor families. The new owners have made great efforts to renovate the rundown place in a historical style, which must have cost a fortune. At the same time, the hotel is modern with very comfortable rooms. The halls on the ground floor are cosy with many books, a coffee bar doubling with drinks for the evening. There is a little garden in the backyard. I was there off season, so there were not many guests, and the price was really affordable for the luxuries offered. On the practical side, there also is a washing machine with dryer. Xiuning is a lovely little town with many museums and historical sites within close distance.

The boss and his wife have worked in Suzhou before. We feel very kind. The dishes are especially appetizing to us. They use sugar instead of MSG. The food is delicious. We ordered the chicken soup. From now on, there is one less chicken on the mountain. The chicken soup is refreshing and delicious. The boss has been stewing for a few hours. The meat is rotten and not woody. The next day, we gave us chicken noodle soup, dried bamboo shoots, fried poached eggs, sent home-grown sweet potatoes, soft and sweet, gave a little pickles, too delicious, even soy sauce is more delicious than the outside buy, real farm experience. We ate a lot of sunflower seeds from the boss, and finally brought a little, it was really delicious. In the morning, the proprietress also took my mother to the observation deck. Although I didn't see the sunrise and the sea of clouds, everyone generally said it was very worthwhile and recommended everyone to live in Zhejiang to marry the emblem. Several places in the homestay choose scenes to shoot portraits very well.

Excellent guesthouse between Huangshan and hongcun village. Room was comfortable and quiet, just beside a stream. Owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and even helped me to arrange for transport. Breakfast can also be bought there. Will recommend this place to anyone planning to visit the area. The butler service was very thoughtful and attentive; they proactively upgraded our room based on our situation. Although the room wasn't large, it was uniquely decorated, and the outdoor space was quite spacious, perfect for sitting outside and listening to the wind through the pine trees on a nice day. The restaurant environment was peaceful and quiet, and we even had a deer accompanying us for dinner outside the glass window. The 'maodoufu' (hairy tofu) was exceptionally delicious. The rice in the beef fried rice was a bit hard, so it might not be suitable for young children. The activities in the park were enough to keep the kids entertained during the day. In the evening, the shuttle took us to Xiaoyao Street for food, shopping, and games, which was a different and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, due to the weather this time, we missed many performances, so we definitely have to come back and stay here again next time!

Service: The only flaw is that the breakfast is not good and there are too few varieties. It was said that it was from 7 to 9:30. At 9 o'clock, we went to noodles and porridge. Eggs and coffee were all gone. We didn't have anything we wanted. The aunt said that the porridge was only cooked in one pot and then it was gone after eating. How could this be possible? People have to ensure the supply of breakfast during breakfast hours, so operating like this has no concept of a hotel at all. How to develop like this, I feel really angry after breakfast. If I don’t change, I won’t consider staying here next time!

The location is good, very close to the scenic area and the bridgehead, just a three-minute walk. The weather was bad, with rare snowfall, but thankfully the hot water and air conditioning in the room were decent. The downside is that the hot water is a storage-type electric water heater, and the owner said there's no natural gas on this street, so two people would need to take a half-hour break between showers. Overall, it's very good and I recommend it.

The deluxe standard room is relatively quiet inside, the street view standard room is relatively noisy, but the price is high, the window is closed or OK, it is recommended

The breakfast is rich in total, the taste is good, the noodles are dried green noodles, or very delicious. This store is a rural old house remodeled. It has been in the past 20 years. It was said to be an art museum. In short, it was very large and brought a yard with sugar. It is estimated that the scenery is beautiful in summer. The boss is still very enthusiastic. We packed the dishes and came back. We asked them to help put the refrigerator. The next day, the microwave oven was heated and eaten. It was not wasted at all. It was very good.
