Beautifully renovated chais with a nice touch of modernity. Large rooms. Michelin-star restaurant is pretty delicious. Breakfast is more average, swimming pool is indoor (sun-beds outside possible). A bit of a surprise but No Cognac production there…

Excellent hotel with high level of service I totally recommend when visiting Angoulême

The hotel is in a great location! The front desk staff, especially at night, were very polite and helpful. The hotel's breakfast is a buffet, 14€ per person, but there is not much variety of food.

Very helpful reception

Les équipements sont assez vieux. Des petits dégradation sont present. Pas de fenêtre mais des grand porte fenêtre qu’on ne peut pas bloqué. Du coup obligé de fermer la nuit du peur que quelqu’un s’introduise. Ce qui nous oblige à allumer la clim. Sinon personnel sympa. Comme nous si vous passez un ou 2 jours, y a pas a plaindre.

The room was very quiet and spacious. Very practical for USB captures when you forget to take your charger (which was my case 🤭) There are drinks and small snacks and a microwave, which is also practical. 2 small bemols : - I had booked a room with 2 double beds and every count made there was 1 double bed, 1 mezzanine bed and 1 single bed. - The shower apple was not a little sticky to stay in the middle of the shower. In short, good stay in the whole, this will not prevent me from returning.

The room I rented was very basic but clean and quiet. The location of the hotel is great for sightseeing in the area and has a variety of restaurants close by. It is a quite a walk from the train station, all uphill. The buffet breakfast is over-priced for what is offered.

Nous sommes venus en juillet. Le climatiseur de la chambre fuyait mais le réceptionniste de l'hôtel, Sofiane, s'est montré très conciliant et nous a fait un geste commercial. Mon fils et moi le remercions pour son accueil et sa gentillesse qui va au-delà du simple service. Je souhaite à Sofiane une belle réussite
