Yogyakarta Hotels with Parking

We love the location of this Hotel. Easy to walk to the nearest shopping areas. Breakfast spread is good although this is within the fasting period. Only one small comment is the Bathing room is very slippery when showering. I slipped and fall while bathing, lucky that I didn't knock on to the glass panel or the wall. Suggest to have bathing mat at the showering point. Overall for my friends and I are very satisfy with the stay at Harper Hotel.

The hotel's location is super strategic, really close to Tugu Jogja. There are tons of food options along the street, and it's also near the train station. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the food is delicious!

The location is not far from Malioboro. However, due to the traffic, it's difficult to walk, so it takes about a five-minute Grab ride. The lobby staff are friendly, and the breakfast spread is good with plenty of options. As for the room condition, the showerhead was a bit problematic, and in my room, I found some small ants. Luckily, they didn't reach the bedroom, but it's something to keep in mind if you're staying at the Suite Residence.

The welcome drink was refreshing when I checked in during the day, and in the evening it was like ginger tea. 5. The room also met my request: clean, fragrant, tidy, with great facilities, and the AC was wonderfully cold. 6. The swimming pool and gym are also excellent. 7. Highly recommended as a choice, especially since as a resident of Gading Serpong, the hotel is within walking distance to Kopi Tuku, Gudeg Sagan, Tugu Jogja, and Malioboro. In short, this hotel is incredibly strategic, simply the best.

The room was clean and tidy, and the toiletries were complete. The hotel is located on a high floor, offering great views. They don't provide bottled water, but there are water dispensers on each floor's hallway. The shower water was clean and odorless, no need to change the showerhead at all. The biggest surprise was dining at the rooftop restaurant; the view was absolutely stunning, perfect for watching the sunset, and of course, the variety of dishes was impressive. The two of us ordered oxtail soup, a fillet steak, and Yogyakarta fried rice. Every dish was a hit, absolutely delicious. The best part was that with taxes and service charges, it only came to just over a hundred, such great value! This made us even more excited for breakfast. And it didn't disappoint; not only did they have regular Western options, but also many traditional Indonesian dishes, all very tasty! The hotel is right next to Yogyakarta Tugu train station, making it very convenient for arrivals and departures. Of course, if you're a light sleeper, this hotel might not be suitable as the soundproofing isn't great, and you can hear people talking in the hallway. But for travelers who've spent a day exploring, it's absolutely perfect. If I get the chance to visit Yogyakarta again, I'll definitely stay here. There are plenty of trishaws right outside the hotel, ready to take you around the local area, which is very convenient.

My experience at ARTOTEL Yogyakarta is truly impressive — the digital art installations at the reception area, well chosen art sculptures and paintings, the warm staff greetings, the scent, the atmosphere, the design, and the overall hospitality felt like a real piece of modern art. It sets very high standards for the ARTOTEL chain.

The staff are incredibly friendly, right from the security guard at the entrance to those in the rooms. The rooms are clean, the water is clean, and the swimming pool on the top floor is great. Highly recommended! There aren't any connecting doors between rooms yet, but you can request adjoining rooms (if available).

Because it's hot in Jogja, I really wanted to shower from head to toe the moment I arrived at the hotel, but there was no hairdryer provided. I was afraid my hair wouldn't dry if I showered at night, and I wouldn't have time to dry it if I showered in the morning.

The hotel's location right next to the train station is very easy to find and convenient for travel. It's also a very easy walk to the walking street. The food is delicious, and the staff are lovely and welcoming.
