Toba Hotels with Parking

The hotel is very overpriced for an old facility.  We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened.  Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean.  Furniture and decoration scream OLD.   Most front desk workers are not Japanese.  They claim to have an ”international crew” but the problem is they don't know much about Japan.  When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country.  On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English.  We booked an 8-course dinner.  The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese.  The menu is in Japanese only.   This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD.  It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is.

The information provided by the trip platform was wrong. I originally booked a room with a private style. When I checked-in, I was told that we didn’t book this room. This is a hotel only five minutes from Tokuba Station. Tokuba Station has Kintetsu and JR at the same time, and there is a pier to Dolphin Island. The hotel is five minutes in the other direction of the aquarium and Zhenzhu Island. The other direction is 5 minutes, which is the main recommended restaurants on the Internet. Children like Japanese-style rooms, can see the sea view, dinner is a set of meals, different prices, things are different. The location of the room in Ctrip is relatively poor.

We stayed for two dinners and basically did not repeat. Every meal has surprises. Let alone the taste is very good, the freshness of the ingredients is enough to cover all the deliciousness. Especially his roasted salmon head. That seasoning is really a must, delicious, sashimi, carbon grilled shell snails, crayfish, abalone, delicious taste, with iced beer, or today's sake 🍶, it is simply an enjoyable gout meal, really a big enjoyment. Because it is an old inn, about half of the beach in front of you is the area of this inn. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English. The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.

Because the reservation is close and it is a weekend, the price is high. Therefore there are not many options. But it is better than I thought. Good service staff The room is ok, clean, good view, convenient parking. The onsen is good, both indoor and outdoor, but the floor is very slippery. Both in the pond and the walkway to take a bath. In the morning, there are alternate rooms, which is bigger and more comfortable.

the food is nice and presentable...unique style..but i'm with my son so i hope they wil also think if the food will suit to my son..and the page is a scam.. sorry..no sauna and karaoke
