An Excellent Hotel with a Caring Host!
We are very happy with our choice! The mattresses are high-quality, we slept wonderfully after a long trip to Sri-Lanka. The terrace is simply our favorite spot!
Special thanks to the host for handling a non-standard situation: we originally booked 2 nights, but after the first night, our plans changed. We wanted to explore further into the island and then return to the same hotel 10 days later. The host was very accommodating: he seamlessly split our booking into two parts (the first night and the later night), which was extremely convenient and cost-effective for us. Moreover, he gave us excellent advice on the travel route around the island.
What can be improved: neighbour's dog was a little bit noisy in the evening.
We greatly appreciate the flexibility and hospitality! I definitely recommend this place.

Great place to stay. Staff were very good and helpful. The breakfast was good. Room size was spacious and it was great to have a choice of AC or calling fan. Great to having a working smart TB too. Choice of minibar options was perfect and at reasonable cost. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.

Fully accessible if you have reduced mobility, a quick ride from the airport and full of the hospitality and charm that Sri Lanka is known for. The grounds are beautiful and the food at breakfast was delightful.
I particularly liked that there was a giant superstore right opposite the entrance, perfect for picking up things you might have forgotten on your way there or goodies for your trip back.
A wonderful experience.

DariaOvsA green hotel, very close to the sea, and the view from the room is amazing.
1) Breakfast wasn't very tasty, and the food at the hotel wasn't particularly good.
2) The rooms are very spacious and have everything you need.
3) Parking is available right across from the hotel.
4) You exit the hotel, turn right, and walk along the road where you'll find restaurants, cafes, and shops. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to a good restaurant, which is fine overall; you can enjoy a stroll.
5) There's a volleyball court inside the hotel, and we played a game.
Overall, it's good, but the hotel itself isn't new. If you're staying for 2-3 days, it's a great option, but for a week, it's probably better to choose another place.

Guest UserWe stayed at this hotel overnight before our flight. We liked the hotel; it was clean, the bed was soft and large, and the room was spacious and had a kitchenette. There were knives, spoons, plates, a kettle, a frying pan, and pots. Basically, everything you need.
The hotel service was a big problem. We asked for one bottle of water, and we asked for only one towel. My husband was checked out at 10:00 AM, not 11:30 AM as stated. I was leaving at 7:30 AM, but I had to stay late because the door was locked. This was unpleasant. The hotel door is locked, meaning you can't arrive late, and you can't leave early either. I was left with mixed feelings. The room itself was gorgeous. Everything was clean and beautiful. The service was a 3.

It was less than 10 minutes from the airport and I arrived at the hotel around 1:00am.
The staff was very kind even though I arrived in the middle of the night.
It was a very short stay, but the price was reasonable and large, and the room and bathroom were very beautiful.
I am satisfied. I want to use it again.

Guest UserSuite 262 Hotel in Negombo offers a mixed experience, with notable highlights and areas for improvement. Its location receives a commendable 4-star rating, providing convenient access to the city's attractions and beaches. While cleanliness and amenities both earn 3-star ratings, there is room for enhancement in maintaining pristine conditions and expanding the range of facilities offered. However, the hotel excels in service, boasting a 4-star rating for its attentive and accommodating staff. A standout feature is the private little courtyard pool, which serves as a delightful oasis for guests, offering a tranquil retreat within the hotel premises. Overall, Suite 262 Hotel provides a pleasant stay with its convenient location, attentive service, and the added allure of a private courtyard pool.

It suited its purpose to be close to the airport, but otherwise there is not much to do in the area neither in the hotel. I would not stay longer than necessary. The hotels facilities are basic, rooms a bit outdated, though gym is quite good. Pool is nice and breakfast tasty and good variety

Amazing hotel with a lot of care and thought put into the little details. Feels very unique with the suites having a very architectural type feel, example recsess in the bathroom for light features and shelving etc. the door however had an old rusty handle which would fault, locking you in! Had to leave the door open propped by a bin. The pool is beautiful although not as clean as our previous hotel at Heritance Negombo, a few doors up. The power also cut out 10+ times over an hour period. Maybe the switch between solar to grid needs to be upgraded. The single lift is also very old and tiny. Definitely needs an upgrade. Spa was good, breakfast was fairly standard however fresh pancakes were a treat after 2 weeks of eating stale hard ones at other buffets haha

I stayed in this hotel for a week. It’s only been open for 5 months and at first appearance it looks good, but taking a closer look it’s still being built and repaired. There are still cables jutting out of the wall and ceiling. Although the kitchen is featured in the photos of the room, it has no tap, the cupboards are sealed. I raised some of my concerns when I arrived with the general manager when he asked me questions about my stay and he seemed blasé about addressing it. Based on what was paid, this hotel is overpriced. There are still cement stairways and drilling taking place during the day. The WiFi is awful, they finally installed a router in my room which took the week to do and it only worked on the day of my departure. The best part of the hotel is some staff members who will go out of their way to help, special mention to Jazz. They have a great pool on the roof. Until it’s fully built I wouldn’t recommend staying here!
