GGuest UserI should have taken photos but it’s just one night, it slipped my mind. We too were attracted by the photos, thinking it shouldn’t be that bad since it is a resort afterall. But we are so wrong. The reception was good as they allow us to check in early, staff are generally nice but perhaps company policy should improve. Near to outlet but that’s all you get unless you willing to drive an hour to elsehwere.
Now I will share in details the experience of my stay:
1. The lift open and close within few seconds so ‘run’ when the door open. It shuts on us a few times when we took the lift
2. The room door was shaking. I am pretty sure one kick would have the door flung open. Single lady, not advisable to stay
3. The floor in the room forever feels wet and slippery. Hold your core and grip your toes on the floor every steps you take especially in the toilet. Elderly, not recommended to stay
4. The aircon is creating white noise for those that cannot in quiet room. So it’s a torture for me that needs to sleep in quiet environment
5. The queen bed, probably not my understanding of good old days queen bed, the space isn’t too comfortable for me and my 8yo
6. Amenities- basics. Plus point for the safe box. BUT bear in mind that the bottled water and towers meant for only 2 even though you thought you booked for 4. Additional, please pay. This is the first time I have to pay for towels when I booked a room for 4.
7. Food wise, my son and husband said the food was decent. Dinner, we went to Park Royal hotel for buffet and I got food poisoning the next day.
All and all, that’s about right given the price. It’s a one time thingy. There isn’t anything interesting that will bring me back here anyway.
