Great
GGuest UserRoom space is big enough for four people live in.
Breakfast is good ,there eggs, meat, bacon etc.
Bathroom space is nice, but shower head is fixed.it is very unconvenient for cleaning body.
This is good hotel deserves to book in again.
GGuest UserThe location is good, with ferries to Manhattan every 20 minutes. However, the hotel doesn't provide drinking water, and the lighting system is poorly designed. On the last night, the bedside lamp and the bathroom vanity light couldn't be turned off, which was a bit ridiculous. Also, the room gets very dry and generates static electricity when the air conditioning and heating are on; we had a slight electric shock when we touched the switch, my arm went numb, and I was quite startled. I hope the hotel can provide a humidifier.
GGM080This place is a hidden gem. It is very close to Newport station and takes less than an hour to reach main attractions in NYC. When we checked in, Harry was extremely helpful. He not only greeted us well and, but also came out of his desk to show us the path to go to Newport station. He also shared a guide map copy of the location. Breakfast is in downstairs in front of reception with 4 seating inside and more outside patio. There is couple of sweets options with juices, yogurt, coffees and fruits. If you are visiting from UK, you might find portion size is a bit big. The room is quite spacious. We took a king room. Although housekeeping is on request, they cleaned our room on the second day, which we were not prepared for.
GGuest UserRoom was clean and exceeded our expectations at such a good price, front desk was helpful and had information for taxi service and local public transportation. Breakfast was included, multiple different choices from bacon and eggs, to packaged breads and yogurts. Front desk was very clear about how to use key cards and where to use them. Shower was clean and water pressure was nice. Included pleanty of towels and multiple different light sources throughout the room. Halls were nice and quiet at night, did not run into a single problem. Definitely plan on staying again.
AAnonymous UserMost of their services are good, clean place. Good staff, very accommodating and helpful.
But they hardly pick calls for customers to arrange themselves with them before checking in.
Few food for breakfast, just omelet, bread and some few. Was expecting more base on the way they describe it on the app.
And, we were not given paste. Thank God my aunty found one in her bag. I checked in for two of us, but most stuff in the room was for one person.
Like the gym
GGuest UserFirst time staying in New Jersey, great location opposite ferry terminal however noisy. The best thing was the view over the city, great sunrise and watching lights go, even watched fireworks 2 nights. Second best thing was good size room, big bed and sofa.
Sadly the bathroom had shower over tub very poor water flow, tub not deeper enough, asked reception if we could change room as staying 7 nights need separate shower and bath was told would not get any view, I asked if could see room so I could make sure shower better than one had was told NO.
Other disappointing things - light switch on wall when enter not work, had to go round turning lamps on individually also next to bed no control switch had to turn on quite tricky, also no plugs or charging next to bed had to charge phone across room. Decor very dated, no fridge, safe worked well. The slamming of doors was awful, also walls very thin.
Best place to eat just a short walk to the chart restaurant, amazing views, staff, food and drinks. Also So Thai very good. The whole food supermarket has everything you need except wine.
CcoolbadOn the highway in the small town. The price is relatively cheap compared to New York, but the transportation cost is not low. The manager and the front desk are basically Mexican and African, and their attitude is good. The room is average, the breakfast is average, and the hotel is still renovating the elevator. Generally speaking, it is at the level of domestic two-star to three-star hotels, which is inconsistent with the name, just like a homestay guesthouse.
GGuest UserThe hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly. Hotel was a little worn around the edges but overall a good pleasant hotel. The Inclusive breakfast was standard fare for most chain hotels very average. I would definitely stay here again. It is a good value.
ZZhiruiSomehow convenient location near the light rail station and within walking distance from the PATH station. The establishment is not a fancy new one but good enough to stay for a short time. Surprisingly Hilton decided their free waters are only for silver members (and tiers above), guess time to say goodbye to Hilton.
JJPVBIf you won’t mind a short bus trip back and forth to NYC, then it’s the best affordable hotel choice you can get. It was not a big deal for us because we liked the vibe of going in and out of NY. Walmart was just a few walks away which was the best part, getting goods was very easy. There’s also a nearby food place which was a plus too. The breakfast was not the best (as an Asian girl who loves her rice meals lol) Coffee is available so that was good start to any day
