Very Good
RRohitThis was a layover hotel for us and it did the trick. It is only about 15 minutes away from Teminal C at EWR and also has shuttles that can drop you to the airport. Remember to call ahead of time and book your slot because the shuttle runs at scheduled time and can be full. They have a decent spread for breakfast. The reception is very helpful as well.
KKhalijah BinteNeeded to go to Prudential Center for a concert and decided that it is within walking distance.
Check in was terrible. The front lady forgot about me after telling me to wait for 10 mins for my room. I requested for a room near the elevator as I hate walking down a long corridor, BUT she gave me the furthest room, next to the Exit stairs. Sigh…..
Bed was comfortable. Rest of the room was ok but hot water took too long to heat up and the water pressure was pathetic. Elevator was slow and we had to wait a long time for the 2 elevators. Then in the evening one elevator broke down. The wait was excruciating long!
At 1.30 am I got woken up by bratty kids stomping on my Neighbour’s door. And the nightmare began when the Neighbour from Hell decided to have a party in their room. I called the reception 3 times and they promised that they would send a security guard to ask them to quieten down. But the moment I hang up, I could hear their phone ring! No one came up and the noise continued. After the third call, someone finally came up and the party finally went away. I had to tolerate 3 hours of noise.
The day before I was told that the airport shuttle would leave on the hour, every hour. So I came down at 7.45 am only to be told that it is half past every hour. So I had to wait for 45 mins in the lobby.
At the lobby there were stragglers sleeping in the lobby.
Overall I won’t come back to this hotel.
GGuest UserI've stayed at the Courtyard in Colombo before and it was great, but this Courtyard is not the same as the other Courtyard. There are small shops all around, the speakers are very loud, the soundproofing in the room is poor, all kinds of noises are very noisy, it's hard to open the window in the room, the bedding is very average, there are no slippers, I don't dare to walk around, I usually don't write reviews, just want to remind my Chinese friends
BBhatiaStayed here after a late night flight into EWR. The hotel had a free shuttle that picked us from the airport. The staff was very welcoming despite our late check in and short stay. Rooms were clean and comfy!
GGuest UserThis is the oldest Hilton hotel I've ever stayed in. At 179cm tall, I felt the bathroom sink was a bit high. There was no mineral water in the room, so I brought my own slippers. The second floor is the front desk, and there's a small shop outside. There are many businesses outside, but for some reason it's been closed 24 hours a day for the past two days. Transportation is very convenient, with a train station next door, which has a McDonald's and small shops, and is two stops away from Manhattan. There are some homeless people, so try not to go out at night. I prefer a quiet room facing a side street, as cars, especially motorcycles, can be quite noisy around midnight.
GGuest UserThe smell of paint is indeed strong. I don't know if the furniture is painted or something.
The front desk service is good and the guy is very friendly.
I didn't have breakfast because I had an early flight. I guess there are only a few options. Breakfast in American hotels is quite impetuous.
Ccathy999It was transferred from Airbnb to this hotel. The facilities of the hotel are intact, the sanitary conditions are good, the free parking lot is spacious, and the breakfast provided during the epidemic is relatively simple, and it can be taken back to the room for consumption, which is already considered good. If you are looking for a hotel in this area, I would recommend him.
