Amazing
IiusearchbtwNice simple hotel at Mong Cai, comfortable sleep and nice shower. The proximity to the border is really interesting, though on this side there is not too much, a few restaurants but thats about it.
Note: The location in google is correct relative to the streets etc. , BUT YOUR GPS DOT WILL BE WRONG! This is because of proximity to China hence the offset of GPS coordinates.

YyincolI stayed at this hotel for three nights due to work. When I first arrived, rooms were quite tight, and only a windowless room was available. The front desk proactively offered to switch me to a different room for the next two nights, which I could do after my first night's stay. True to their word, they did move me to a slightly better room after the first night. Both rooms were similar in size, but the new one had a window, offering much better natural light, which I was very happy about.
The overall comfort level of the hotel was high, and the hygiene was also good. The front desk service was particularly warm and thoughtful. Later, I stayed at a more expensive hotel in the city center, and the experience there wasn't as good as this one.
While the location isn't ideal, with limited dining and massage options nearby, the affordable room rate makes up for it. The money saved on accommodation was more than enough to cover taxi fares. Staying at a city-center hotel, though it saves on transport, comes at a higher price and doesn't offer as good an experience.
So, overall, I'm very satisfied, and if I have the chance to visit again, I would still choose this hotel.

CC NgoGrand hotel with lovely views, showing a little wear in room. Great location close to the chinese border. Stayed 1 night to visit family in the area. Pool was not in use during stay. They check the room at checkout so make sure you have time for this.
