Staff go out of their way to help Enjoyed our stay here This old hotel is kept clean Enjoyed the Buffet breakfast The staff is very attentive. Just ask and all will be sorted superfast.They would ask whether our needs were being met during our stay. Its location on Cairo Road makes it easy to visit some of Lusakas iconic sites i.e. the National Museun, Culural Village, and various markets. Area around hotel felt safe. The reception was amazing and I loved the food. However I feel the hotel should invest more in their recreational facilities for example the hotel does not have a spa.The room itself was nice and the bathroom clean though not spacious as I expected.The dining area is very clean as well and I loved it.

I usually have a good time at the resort and stayed a couple of times. This time from the start, there were a few things: I had asked reception because we were going early, to have the breakfast boxes for the kids early to take at 5:30. When we got to the restaurant in the evening it took a while to be served. When we got the kids in the shower, there were no towels and when we phoned it took a while. We also phoned to ask for normal milk as my child can’t have creomora and they said they would bring but never did. Then our taxi driver let us down so I called reception to book an airport shuttle in the morning and she said she would call back but never did. Eventually after I called back, they got back to me with results. Didn’t tell me the price though. When we checked out at 5:30, they didn’t have the breakfast boxes. And told us our taxi was K400 per head! So all in all, wasn’t a great one.

Didn’t realise before booking that this is a Chinese-operated hotel aimed I would imagine at hosting the local Chinese workforce. All TV channels were in Chinese, breakfast was Chinese food, coffee machine instructions were in Chinese. However, the staff were all Zambian and extremely helpful. Supposed to be a no-smoking hotel but it smelled strongly of cigarettes in our corridor. Bathroom kept smelling like a ‘wet dog’. No facilities in the hotel but luckily a great bar and restaurant next door.

A very clean hotel, well maintained with friendly staff. Radisson breakfasts are always amazing, never fails to impress. Definitely staying there next time. Room was huge and i got a free upgrade!

The Taj as usual didn't disappoint. It's a great venue with all the facilities that you could want. Great value when compared to other venues that don't have the range of facilities and service that you get there. Definitely top of the list when in Lusaka!

Stayed for a week. It is close to East park mall, so there are many good restaurants around. It is a great hotel with a unique container structure. There is a little bit of vibration between floors due to the structural characteristics, but it is not enough to be bothersome.
