It took us a little walk from the Parramatta train station, dragging two kids and two large suitcase, to the hotel. Roughly 20 min. But once we had familiarised ourselves about the surrounding area, it takes only 10-15min to travel between the hotel and train station. So 4/5 for its location! Besides, it is very close to the Westfield shopping center. It makes an almost seamless transition for us. The best part of Holiday Inn Parramatta to us was its cleaness and friend service. We loved how clean our room was on the first day, and how clean it was every time we came back after the room service. We were convinced by the hotel team on their committment over cleaness of the room. The room amenity may need an upgrade (not to mention the super sensitive fire alarm). The AC seems to be set at a super low temperature, but if setting higher there was a foreign smell. No enough power point so not easy to recharge phones and other electronics. Plus, there were not enough cutleries at the room (so I had to eat a slice water melon with a tea spoon.) But all by all, I still think this hotel is a great place to stay for a short term holiday. Their outdoor swimming pool is easy to use.

My flight was running late i called them to advise i would be late and the reception man was so helpful at 1am when i think we all wanted to sleep haha Only thing is we didn't know parking we needed to pay for but was at a low cost Mushrooms were amazing and the family loved the food Great experience thank you.

Everything was very good and clean. However, the pool and jacuzzi had some broken or cracked tiles.

A very enjoyable stay. Clean well-equipped room in a good central Parramatta location, and with plenty of parking. Initially the door lock for my room didn’t lock properly, but this problem was handled in minutes by the friendly and efficient manager who moved me to a different room with no hassles. The buffet breakfast was a standout - a great start to the day!

Good place to staying

The hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes away from Parramatta station and Harris park. The hotel has rich breakfast, large rooms, good hygiene, clean and well-organized.

It is almost a must-go when visiting Paramatta. It is cost-effective and even has Korean breakfast, which is loved by children. The weather in Sydney is very good, which fully reflects its beauty!

The location is not far from the train station, but there is an incline up and down, which makes it inconvenient to carry luggage. It is also a long way from the city center. It takes at least 40 minutes by subway. A certain staff at the front desk had a very bad attitude. When we arrived at night on the first night, the staff at the front desk did not feel very friendly. I thought it was because we were too tired to catch up with our schedule, but when we were checking in, another staff member The white guest came over and asked him a question. The receptionist had a friendly conversation with the white man for more than 5 minutes before continuing to handle our check-in procedures. There was a clear difference in attitude. At that time, we were standing in front of the clerk, looking at They kept talking until they finished talking and then dealt with our check-in in a shady manner. The staff was not embarrassed at all before or after, nor was he sorry for disturbing our time. Is this hotel a priority for white people? Even the white guest felt embarrassed for blocking us? In terms of cleaning the room, there were unknown dirt (yellow and black) on the towels, the dee dee sound of the PA system failed for no reason (1-2 am), and the water supply was cut off at night for no reason, which made me have a bad impression of this hotel. 2 points are given for the good breakfast and some good attitude. I have always frequented hotels owned by holiday lnn when I go to different places. I didn't expect to be disappointed this time! Totally not worth the price.
