It was such an amazing place, out in the middle of the amazonian rainforest. Nice weather around the time I went, not hot as I thought it would be. Staff was amazing, food was very good & natural. We went on a forray to go see all the kind of biodiversity that was available & it is a pretty big place so there is lots to see If i had to say 1 bad thing about this (which isnt an issue for me) is that there can be bugs in your roomif you leave anything open. But what can we expect? its the amazon rainforest! 10/10 experience for me

Creepy owner Farquat made weird advances and drugged some of the girls at the resort. Definitely stay away from this place if you value your self at all. The food was mediocre and the guy ended up leaving our group deep in the Amazon because he wanted to run off! People were abandoned in the forest past dark with no guide. Total joke!

Beware this property - very inflexible & challenging to deal with. I had to cancel my booking and it took several months a dispute with the credit card company for them to honor their written cancellation policy (50% refund), in spite of weekly conversations on WhatsApp.

The views over the Amazon basin are stunning. There is a good choice of expertly prepared, tasty food in the restaurant. The well-designed rooms are spacious and comfortable - we were on the top floor, but all the rooms looked nice (although some have shared bathrooms). The staff are all very friendly and helpful, but best of all is the wildlife, particularly the insects which are amazing in their variety and colour. Ferhat, the owner, loves insects too, and happily showed us many exciting creatures attracted to his moth light, and also on a walk just up the drive and along the roadside. The forest trail is good, although we didn't make it all the way to the river because there were so many nice things to see and learn about along the way with the help of Danny. Truly a nature lovers' paradise, but fabulous too if you just want to enjoy the views, food and lovely swimming pool.

Amazing views, contact with nature, peace. The people were friendly, it was a quite place, with few guests. Massage is awesome! Food is good as well. The team helped me by providing a cable so I could be more comfortable to plug my laptop and work :)

We arrived without reservations when we couldn’t make it to our destination due to heavy rain. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and everything was sorted quickly. The hotel is very pretty and rustic, and the food is plentiful and delicious. The pool, swing etc were great but the views were the best part, they are absolutely stunning! The next morning we realised we had misplaced a set of car keys, several staff immediately came to help and spent a half hour looking alongside us. We will definitely be back, highly recommend this lodge!

Expensive but extraordinary...good meal and at a fair price but the must is the swimming pool and the jacuzzi which overlook the Amazonian forest...20 minutes by taxi from Puyo the rooms are spacious and the breakfast excellent
