Stayed with my fiancé last weekend for my 40th birthday and had the loveliest time and just adored the cottage and village. We stayed in Tom’s barn. Loved the log fire, the coziness of the cottage, the comfy bed and the beautiful surroundings. It was a rainy weekend in November so we’d love to return in Spring. Lovely touches from Ange & Robert for my birthday included a card, bunting and prosecco - thank you!! We stopped in for a pint at the RBL in the village and the landlord was very welcoming. Then dinner at the Sycamore pub, which had a nice vibe and good food and a very friendly cat and dog!

My wife and I stayed in Douglas’s Barn over the late May Bank Holiday. The accommodation is set in the village of Parwich, which is a sleepy, beautiful place. The Cottage itself is perfect for a weekend away…lovely location, beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you’d need. The hosts are also very welcoming with a lovely ‘starter pack’ of bread, milk, butter and eggs. Would highly recommend and will be booking again in the future!

Beautiful barn in a beautiful location! Home from home, very clean, very comfortable, everything that you would need, little extras made it even more welcoming, perfect for 2 and a great pub in walking distance!
