A very nice resort hotel, three and a half hours' drive from Melbourne. It is located by a quiet lake, with a yacht pier just outside the door. There are many birds, including black swans and wild ducks. It is very suitable for taking children on vacation.

We spent a wonderful week at Captain's Cove with family. The cottages are well maintained and provisioned and all facilities are provided. We rented out bikes and kayaks for some adventures and also included a day trip to Buchan caves and an inland fishing charter in our itinerary. Overall a wonderful week of memories!

One of the best places we've ever stayed. The view was beautiful across the water. Everything was just perfect. They messed up the bedding arrangements but ended up giving us the third room for free. The staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't really fault anything. We are going back in six months.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here in mid February, what a magnificent experience, our town house was so clean. We loved our balcony and the water views, the pool was great too. So close to the restaurants and shops. Really enjoyed our visit to Raymond Island across the ferry. We highly recommend Captains Cove.
