At the suggestion of an Argentinian artist friend, we spent three full days here, which were some of the happiest days of our two-month trip to Argentina. La Sala da Payogasta is a rare find in the northern regions of Argentina. The owners prefer to take care of the building’s origins, and the former adobe finca has a central square with a covered walkway around. The whole complex breathes history. Elvira and Alejandro, the directors, not only gave us a very warm welcome and read our every wish from our lips, they also run an excellent restaurant with first-class wines on offer, and they provided a guide for trekking in the Nevado da Cachi region. The varied breakfast buffet in the large panoramic room offers local produce, the view is breathtaking. Waking up in the morning with a view of the Nevado da Cachi mountain massif is downright intoxicating (some of the spacious rooms, equipped with tiled floors, heating and private bathrooms, offer this unique view, simply ask for avaibility. Those expecting a metropolitan ambience, luxurious hotel furniture and marble floors may be disappointed - those who love character, first-class service and an enchanting atmosphere will not want to leave.

Las instalaciones dejan mucho que desear. Los colchones HORRIBLES. Me picaron pulgas o chinches (dormí una sola noche ahí, al otro día amanecí todo brotado) en ambos brazos y las piernas. Más allá del precio (alto o bajo) creo que un lugar que presta servicio de hoteleria, no puede considerar errores en este tipo de MÍNIMOS y básicos detalles de HIGIENE.

Es un lugar magico te transporta a otro lugar, la habitaciones y los espacios comunes decorados de una manera delicada y acorde!! Las vistas desde la sala a los cerros y el nevado de cachi es un privilegio!!!! El desayuno riquísimo y abundante... Sus dueños excelentes anfitriones...muy muy recomendable para pasar una estadia de paz y tranquilidad!!!

Hotel histórico, no puesto en valor. Habitación premiamos, sábanas de vieja data, quemada, toallones agujereado, Se presentó un problema de salud, la Propietaria no facilito, mucho menos ofrecció contacto en Cachi para lograr atención, se desentendió. De haberse tratado de tema de salud de relevancia...grave. Mal trato, desinterés por el Huésped por parte de la Propietaria

Les cuento que estuvimos la semana pasada, hacía mucho frío y pasamos mucho frío en la habitación . No está preparado para invierno. En el baño hay una bañera con hidromasaje muy linda pero por cuestiones de sustentabilidad no la dejan usar. No la pasamos nada bien . Fueron dos noches. La primera prendimos el hogar que había dentro del cuarto pero a la noche faltaba oxigemo.......nos despertamos con tremendo mal estar. La pequeña estufa de tiro balanceado no alcanzaba . Las puerta y ventanas no tenían burletes y entraba un tremendo chiflete...... El lugar donde sirven el desayuno es hermosisimo , una vistas espectacular aunque la calidad del desayuno es mediocre. La cena es buena .U no pena ya que tiene un detalles muy agradables y de buen gusto , pero ........
