You can tell they're trying to emulate boutique hotel offerings, but given the price point, management hasn't optimized their product to its full potential within cost constraints—in fact, there are numerous issues. For example, they don't automatically change bedding for consecutive-night stays, you're better off bringing your own toiletries, the breakfast is poor quality, and garbage trucks make their rounds punctually around midnight, which creates a strong odor if you don't keep your windows closed.

Great location for calm and quiet away from the bustle of the main valley. There's a small path alongside the road and stream which runs for 3km offering pictures question views of the surroundings and also goes to a small shop. The hotel buildings are all separate which helps to add to the calm of the environment. Hot springs are very clean and surrounded by nature. Pei Pei and Xiao Zhao were very helpful. The restaurant opposite serves amazing fish. The hotel is great and really fresh welcome fruit and an evening soup brought to the room. Wonderful atmosphere.

The room was nice. Our main goal in Pengzhou was to experience bamboo shoot digging. Unfortunately, it was raining when we got there, so we didn't go to the mountain. We asked the hotel in advance if we could dig bamboo shoots. They said yes, so we booked the hotel. Hahaha, it turned out to be unexpectedly nice. The hotel also offers hot springs. The housekeeper was also very nice. The room was clean and hygienic, and the bedding was also good. It's just that the shower room leaks water to the outside toilet floor when taking a shower, causing water on the floor and making it easy to slip. My husband almost slipped, so it's better to improve this. The breakfast was also good, with noodles, white porridge, eggs, corn, steamed potatoes, and two bottles of dried radish. In short, it's still highly recommended!
