The building was commissioned in 1870 by Francisco Moreno and has been lovingly restored by its owner, Deborah Dunlap, author and publisher of over 15 books on historic Pensacola.
From this apartment overlooking Palafox Street, you can walk to over 40 restaurants, Maritime Park stadium & amphitheater, Pensacola Bay, Veterans Memorial Park, museums, festivals, Palafox Market, entertainment venues, the Pensacola Bay ferry, and much much more.

Beautiful loft
The loft was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. There is a long staircase to reach the unit so it would be better for younger bodies. It was rough on our 70+ year old selves. If it had an elevator it would be perfect.

A New Place To Love
This place was just so great. My wife and I love to find unique places to stay in Pensacola. With its’ eye on history and its’ totally updated conveniences, this venerable loft is perfectly located, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the best city on the Gulf Coast. Our host Devan was quite kind and friendly throughout. I can’t say enough good things about this loft! We’re coming back.

Gem in the Heart of Pensacola!
This is a lovely apartment in DT Pensacola. The property is tastefully appointed and the hosts were quick to respond to any questions regarding events in the city. We couldn’t have had a better experience! Thank you! We look forward to a future stay!

Best VRBO in downtown p’cola
Second time renting. Why? Convenient to all the fun, clean, beautifully decorated , full kitchen, SAFE SAFE SAFE, comfortable furniture and bed. I just love this place and have rented VRBO’s all over the world. I’ll be back!

My wife and I enjoyed the rental very much. Working with Deborah was wonderful, and she was very helpful listing different places to visit while we were in town. We had travel issues, but Deborah was very helpful and quick to communicate with us as needed. They made us feel very welcome and at home!
The loft itself was perfectly located in the heart of downtown, and we loved the layout. Going to the beach was a quick and easy drive. We can’t wait to go back!
