The location of Quay Perth is genuinely good, but unfortunately the overall experience was quite disappointing. Cleanliness was only average, and the café downstairs was surprisingly poor in both quality and service.
What really affected our stay was the behaviour and manners of the staff. Our checkout time was 10:30am, yet we received a call at 10:10am rushing us to leave. We had ordered McDonald’s and were eating at the reception area — when we politely asked where we could dispose of the rubbish, the staff told us there were no bins, even though there’s a restaurant right next to the reception and we later saw a bin at the counter.
At checkout, a lady at the front desk spoke to us with a very impolite tone and attitude, which left a bad final impression.
Overall, great location but the service and staff attitude really need improvement. Not the experience we expected.
