Hotel Fortuna

Loved the location and the interior of the property. Loved the breakfast too. Would stay again . Has elevators, a big plus.

The hotel itself is lovely. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel did communicate the off site parking arrangements but we had difficulty locating and navigating the underground escalators that connect the parking garage to street level by the hotel. Google maps does not work for this underground stretch. Street level walking is hilly.

Very good location. Friendly staff. Unfortunately no coffee is available in the hotel other than at breakfast. The lift does not extend to all floors and so my wife and I had to carry heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.

The hotel is a jewel, just steps from Piazza Vanucci. There are two terrasses on upper floors, as well as a beautiful lounge where you can relax and read. The staff was very helpful, from recommending restaurants to arranging taxi service back to the parking garage at the end of our stay. The hotel is inside the walls of the historic centre and within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. However, parking inside the centre is reserved for local residents only. It’s an uphill hike to the hotel. Make arrangements ahead of time to get a cab to the hotel. Overall, good value for the money, especially since breakfast is included.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

This is a gem of a hotel in a gem of a city. Everything was walkable and the breakfast was great. Will go again.
