Hotel Samson

The hotel has gone downhill fast. The service in the restaurant is terrible. 1) When we came in, the waiter noticed after about 10 minutes. 2) The choice of food has become small in principle, and for those who do not eat meat, even smaller. There were about 2 dishes to choose from (fish) 3) The food is not particularly tasty in principle, and for that price, disgusting. Now about breakfast: We did not pay for breakfast right away, but decided to go in. One day we were told 350 rubles. In principle, for 350 rubles, a normal breakfast, but today, out of nowhere, we were now told 800 rubles per person. So we just wanted it and already 800 rubles. That is, everything was already bad, but we decided to break through the second bottom. The result, if you want to eat in a hotel, I categorically do not recommend it. Now about the hotel: The service is basically normal, quite cultured, but against the background of the restaurant, too negative an attitude has formed. An ordinary hotel, with some kind of Soviet design. The furniture is clearly old. Of the little things, the cabinets don't have closers. A very grey and boring hotel, without anything in principle. And I don't think it justifies its price.

The first time we stayed at this hotel was about ten years ago, and it made a great impression, closer to four stars. This time we were a little disappointed - a solid three stars. Excellent reception, coolers with hot and cold water in the corridors (the water is so hot that you can easily make porridge or noodles). The room felt cool, but the thermostat worked perfectly - it was worth increasing the temperature, and it became noticeably warmer. Not a bad buffet breakfast. There is an elevator. Of the minuses, one, but for us noticeable: cleanliness. Cleaning every day, fresh linen, no complaints about this. When we moved into the room, there were stains on the carpet, dirty phone buttons, questionable bedspreads, a refrigerator with yellow stains inside, so we decided not to use it. The same with the bathroom - superficially everything is clean, but it is better not to look at the shower cabin and not to touch anything except the shower. The location of the hotel is excellent - the Upper Park is just a few steps away, and behind the hotel begins the Kolonistsky Park, which should not be missed under any circumstances!

- Отличный холл и наличие лифта. - Ресторан, с доставкой еды в номер. - Расположение. - Очень старая ржавая сантехника. - Запах застоялой воды в номере. - Сломанная дверь в номер. - Отсутствие нормальных штор, в номере светло. - Очень маленькая парковка со свободным въездом. - Цена сильно завышена.

Хороший отель в хорошем месте. Совсем рядом и фонтаны и парк с прудом. На двоих вполне хватает. Недостатки: шторы - не плотные, так что в белые ночи рано утром в номере уже очень светло и солнце светит в глаза. Ресторан - только до 23.00, так что прибыв в пятницу после работы с другого города нужно искать другое место, чтобы перекусить и выпить (нашли недалеко!). Завтрак - в один день закончились омлеты, был холодный кипяток для чая и т.д., во второй все ок, так что видимо, зависит от персонала. Да, уборки тоже не было почему то
