The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless, had all the basics and was secure. They have a laundry and a dessert and cocktail lounge. No swimming pools or gyms but if you’re looking for a basic, clean, and very reasonably priced motel, this is the one. Staff made it feel homely and there’s a supermarket next door, as well as the local pub and a few other essential stores

A slightly different review because Cyclone Alfred canceled our trip. However, the kindness and service provided by Petrie were exceptional. Not only did they accept the cancellation, they also waived the cancellation fee that could have been charged. We will book again when next we travel to brisbane.

Clean, modern, stylish rooms. Batting above average for a “motel”.! Manager/Host was lovely! So accommodating and easy going. She certainly knows about customer service! Everything appeared to be new and fresh. Beds so soft and comfortable. Wi-Fi was intermittent - network seemed to get overwhelmed if more than two devices connected. Pub down the road had nice bistro meals.

I recently spent three nights at the Petrie Mill Motel while attending an event at Dayboro. The motel itself was clean and well maintained, the rooms were a good size, and it is well priced. The location is great with a small shopping center next door and multiple dining options within easy walking distance (including an onsite café that does great breakfasts). Without a doubt the stand out had to be the wonderfully friendly and helpful managers – from the moment we arrived we were treated like lifelong friends rather than just customers. The mattresses would not suit everyone as they are very soft but in saying that very comfortable also. The only issue I noticed was a lack of parking - there simply isn’t enough car parks for the number of guests if all the rooms were full. All in all, it’s great motel in a great location and I would be happy to stay there again.

The rooms were new, clean and comfortable. The staff provided exceptional customer service, and are very friendly. It was very convenient having a laundry and cafe close to the rooms. Woolworths and other shops are only a few minutes walk. The train station is also in walking distance.

Fantastic place to stay for our family reunion . Great location close to Supermarket and cafes Very new motel, lovely, clean and well appointed rooms and the beds were very comfy. The reception staff were very accommodating with our booking and as requested gave us a ground floor room for my mother with mobility issues. Cafe on site was great for breakfast with a nice variety of items on the menu and very friendly staff. Alison was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again

Awesome place to stay .staff were wonderful would definitely reccomend.rooms were clean , good size and beds comfy .shopping centre a short uber away .courtesy bus for bowls club picks you up and drops you home .supermarket next door as well as bakery and cafe and Chinese.

Would definitely not stay again. Bed when sat on mattress sunk to the base. Pillows were rock hard, no bounce, no softness - all 4 pillows in the room the same - hard to use towels to make a little softer. TV controls didn't work well. The traffic noise unbearable - have stayed at places on major highways (Proserpine - Bruce Hwy / Grafton - Pacific Hwy) and there were a lot quieter than here.
