The Cove Phi Phi

A slice of paradise! I absolutely loved my stay here; it’s a fantastic spot for couples. The hotel is quite secluded and only accessible by boat, so I recommend stocking up on everything you might need beforehand. There’s a small shop on-site, but it only sells snacks, beer, and sodas. The prices are comparable to beachfront cafes on the mainland: a small 0.33L beer is 80, a 0.6L bottle of water is 25, and a 1.5L is 50. Small Lay's chips are 40, and a small can of Coke is 40. The food at the cafe is delicious, and the portions are quite decent, though the prices are a bit on the higher side. Dinner without alcohol cost us 1000. For example, a Greek salad is 260, and a burger is 250, but it’s totally worth it! Breakfasts are excellent, buffet-style, and very tasty. There aren't many dishes, but everything is delicious; they even have cake for breakfast! 😁 We stayed in a beachfront bungalow. The hotel itself is built on a steep hillside, with the bungalows cascading upwards. If you book a garden bungalow, you might have to climb a steep slope. It’s not particularly quiet on the beach, as boats constantly pass by, heading to neighboring beaches. There's usually one or even two boats moored right on our beach. One inconvenience is the lack of a pier, meaning you have to get in and out of the boats directly into the water, and you have to swim next to them. Also, as of early October 2026, renovations are underway, so it can be noisy during the day. Our bungalow was clean, smelled pleasant, and everything worked well. There are adorable cats living on the property, so bring some food for them; they're very hungry!

Phi Phi Islands are truly stunning, and The Cove is equally amazing. Incredible value for money—you come here purely to enjoy the scenery. Although the journey is quite long, I will definitely be back!

Such a lovely place on Phi Phi Don. It faces Krabi, the coral reef is interesting, the villa is huge and comfortable, the breakfasts are amazing, the beach is uncrowded, and golf carts will take you to any level of your accommodation. The staff are incredibly kind. We stayed for 4 days and didn't want to leave – it's heaven on Earth.

The room was lovely, a typical Thai-style bungalow with a beautiful sea view. HOWEVER! After eating the papaya salad here, I got severe food poisoning, with vomiting and diarrhea, and ended up in the hospital. The hotel front desk doesn't open until 7:30 AM, so no one was there to accompany me to the hospital, nor did I receive any compensation. If you plan to stay here, please be very careful about what you eat.
