Our recent stay at Zeavola hotel was a downright debacle. The unwelcome rat cohabiting in our room (eating through our zip-locked fruit bars and pooping in our clothes and luggage) turned what was supposed to be a tranquil experience into an episode of restlessness and discomfort—qualities I never expected from a so-called luxury hotel (we booked the seafront villa $500 per night!- added receipt for reference!!!!!). Upon alerting the staff, we were initially ignored and then after another night of sleeplessness they finally moved us to a new room, hoping for solace, but optimism quickly dissipated as we encountered a persistently clogged shower drain. A rat, plumbing issues, and ongoing maintenance problems torpedoed any semblance of quality in our stay, prompting us to question the hotel's credibility in living up to its luxury claims. The culinary charade presented as dinner failed spectacularly, with an exorbitant price tag (990 baht per person) not justifying the lackluster food quality. To add to the agony, the mini bar transformed into an ant-infested haven, an absurd oversight that compromised hygiene and further eroded my faith in the hotel's attention to detail. In retrospect, the trifecta of a rat infestation, a chronically obstructed shower, a culinary disaster, and an ant-infested mini bar desecrated what could have been a luxurious stay. These calamities solidify my stance against recommending this purported upscale haven. Adding insult to injury, the hotel's secluded location forced us into gastronomic captivity with meals that bordered on extortion. A crucial tip: avoid booking anything through the hotel, as they shamelessly inflate prices. The audacious pricing practices, like demanding 2200 baht per person for a speed boat back to Krabi, exposed the hotel's unwarranted profiteering (we booked the EXACT same boat ride that includes ground transportation for 1800 baht pp). Zeavola, you've not only fallen short—you've become the epitome of hospitality gone awry.

Excellent. Transport extra to get to location. Beach great and food and staff excellent.

I don't normally write bad reviews, but in this case the poor service and attention received deserve to be shared, so that other people are aware and could avoid having all the headache I had with Zeavola resort. TRANSPORTATION: Everything started with the transfer. I was pleased when trip.com informed that Zeavola provides pick up from hotel (in Phuket) and transfer via boat till the hotel. Then, haven't received any news on the schedule until the day before, I decided to write myself, underlying that being my wife pregnant we couldn't take the speedboat, but only the ferry. After many discussions, through trip.com and calling the hotel directly, it seems there was nothing they could do as they do only speedboat, so they suggested me in written to organize it by myself (communication in pictures). Despite I tried to understand WHY the transport is included, but if a passenger is pregnant then I have to do it everything myself, the answer was still: do it yourself, without providing any justifications, excuses or "compensations". The cost of ferry + taxi for 2 ppl + 1 kid is 2900 bath (600rmb/76€). So it seems that pregnant women are discriminated or the structure is just not able to handle this situation. ROOMS AND STRUCTURE: This hotel is clearly not a 5 star hotel, and I wonder how they obtained 5 stars. I understand the "jungle experience", but the bathroom separated and open is just extremely annoying, being exposed to neighbors and to a lot of bugs that are indeed in the jungle. The rooms are one on top of another, without any type of privacy, looking one in another (normally from the living room to someone's else bathroom). The electric system is old. I was not able to turn off some lights, and in the middle of the night one light turned on by itself. SERVICE AND PREPARATION (that you expect in a 5 star) Many things happened in less than 24 hours that we stayed there: 1. When we did the check in, despite the already bad adventure with transportation, nobody showed us the structure (where the breakfast is, from when to when, etc...). "This is the key, enjoy". 2. At dinner we have received a Pad Thai where the prawns were raw. I gently said it to the waitress that answered that those were not raw... (Trust me... They were raw). The second waiter agreed and brought me a chicken pad Thai (without even asking if i still wanted prawns). Same dinner they made another mistake in the order. 3. At breakfast we asked a hard boiled egg and we received a not well cooked egg. We had to send it back and wait for other 20 mins for a hard boiled egg (my wife is pregnant... On these things I think is fair to pay attention, especially when travelling) 4. We have asked for bottled water (same reason as above). The hotel provides only purified filtered (or boiled) water, in bottles that are not sealed. We have tried to explain and the answer was: sorry, we can't, and the only way is at the bar, that opens at 11am... So no water for my pregnant wife, and no effort to help us. 5. When mentioned that we wanted to change hotel (night of the first day) we have waited for several hours and we have received the first feedback from manager at 4pm of next day, saying that given that was 4 they would have had to charge for sure 2 nights, and out of the remaining 3 they would have reimbursed 1.5. Finally trip.com wrote me that the hotel has agreed to reimburse 1 night only. Overall the service has been seriously a joke, for any type of structure, even more if from a "5 star hotel". So, we moved to the closed by Holiday resort where for half of the price we have a private villa Sea front, breakfast is good and service quick and efficient. I suggest everyone to go directly to Holiday hotel and enjoy this beautiful beach.

Old resort, needs renovation. Dark rooms. no privacy. Typical touristic. For sure pay for comments and high rating, no worth the price. Know nothing about hospitality. Rooms - one on each other. View of bamboo fences. Price too high for what you get. Thousands of mosquitoes and no action from the property. They add a 10% service charge to the bar in the room. I do not recommend!

Zeavola is immersive. You are right in the jungle, so be ready to see some animals on the way to your room. We didn't like our room, it had the view to bottom of a hill room, so no sun arrived there and what we could see was pipes from the other room's toilet. Staff is overall nice, i loved the beach bar and the beach is so so beautiful. Check-in was great they welcomed us at the boat. When i called them about how to reach the hotel they tried to sell is a boat ticket for 2500thb, thay i paid 1100thb for the same service, so don't fall in that. About the property don't expect a luxury experience. And o am not talking about "material luxury" as the GM likes to say. I talk about the quality of the bed linen, the ammenities in the bathroom, the turndown service, flexibility from staff, service at the pool, all of that wood need a big improvement to become a 5 star property. The good news is tha Phi Phi Islands don't have great accomodation, so this is still the best place to stay, tie with Saii Phi Phi.

Nice resort but there is not much to do nearby! Staff very helpful and friendly. Houses are in nature so they are full of mosquitoes. Make sure you have mosquito spray with you! I got a lot of bites! Not nice. If you like peace and quiet, you've come to the right place

I came here 12 years ago and I still feel very good when I come now. The staff are very kind and enthusiastic. The hotel is well equipped and the hotel has arrangements for going out to sea. The speed boat guy is very nice. It is the first choice to stay in a hotel with children. It is quiet and comfortable.
