Sleep Inn Center City

The location is great, in the city center, rooms are nice with good furniture, everything is quite clean. The VERY BIG DISAPOINTMENT are employees! We had contact with three different employees, and all of them were really very lazy. They didn’t want to do anything, they said “OK” to everything, and then nothing was done, or it took them a very, very long time to do anything. A shame for the hotel. We stayed there for four nights, and our room was not cleaned even once. At check-in, we were told that the room would not be cleaned unless we requested it, so we told them right then that it was perfectly fine if they just changed our towels and emptied the trash after two days, and that there was no need to change the bed linen since we could use it for all four days. On the morning of the second day, I reminded them about cleaning the room, and they said “OK.” When we came back to the hotel in the evening, the room had not been cleaned, all the trash bins were full, and our dirty towels were still on the bathroom floor. I went to the reception, where they said, “Oh, sorry, we will clean it tomorrow.” Since we had no towels, I asked them to at least give me fresh ones, but even that was a big problem. The receptionist first searched in various rooms but couldn’t find any towels, then spent about 10 minutes flipping through a phone book, and finally called a colleague, who told her that the towels were in the basement. After waiting at the reception for about 20–25 minutes (around 11 p.m.), I finally got fresh towels. The room was not cleaned the next day either. The breakfast they offer is a DISASTER. The selection is very poor (only sweet items), and even those few things run out quickly because they prepare only a small amount. They offer plastic cutlery and plastic cups, and with a thin plastic knife it is almost impossible to spread butter from the fridge. The juice machine offered apple and orange juice, but only the apple juice worked. When I told the receptionist there was no orange juice, she said, “Yes, I know.” There was still no orange juice for the next two days, and on the fourth day, the apple juice ran out as well, but they only refilled the orange juice. On the first day, waffle batter was available, but on the second day, the machine broke down. On the third day, we came to breakfast at 7:30 a.m., and there was only one slice of toast left. I went to the reception and asked the receptionist to bring food as soon as possible so we could have breakfast, since we were in a hurry to go on a trip to Washington. After about 15 minutes, she came into the dining area and placed three croissants, three muffins, and four slices of toast on the tray, even though there were 12 people waiting in the dining room. Whenever we asked at the reception for advice about sightseeing, renting a car for a trip outside the city, or buying public transport tickets, the answer was always, “I don’t know, check in the city.” In short, the staff is extremely lazy and unfriendly, which makes your stay at this hotel much less enjoyable!

It was good

The room was dirty and AC stopped working the first night I was there. There was a lot of noise from other neighbors in room beside me. Room was too hot to stay had to leave a day early. I would like a refund please?

I had to wait 30 minutes in reception and who comes after she has to check-in before me. No house keeping services for three days.

Room was clean and had minimal supplies, and the bed and pillows are comfy. However, there was takeout food left in the fridge by previous guest that didn’t get cleaned out. I told the front desk and the response was not great and he acted like it was not his job to clean it out, but reluctantly got up to take care of it. The hallways are dirty and elevator was broken.

Pleasant stay in Chinatown The location in Chinatown was perfect for us. There was convenient lot parking next to the inn. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was well equipped. The breakfast was nothing special, but there were a large number of food options.
