Mecon Hotel

I asked to drop off my luggage earlier than check-in time, and they kindly showed me to my room. They even gave me a riverside room. I thought there weren't enough beds, so I asked, and they came to the room to explain how to use the sofa bed, screen, and YouTube. The reception staff were also very polite and helpful. It's really close to the night market and the riverside, so I was able to enjoy Phnom Penh's weekend nights! I highly recommend it.

We had to check out early because there were over 12 bugs constantly appearing. The location was great and the staff service was excellent, but we had no choice. The extremely low water pressure in the shower was also a major issue.

I stayed for 2 nights. The location wasn't particularly great, but the river view was lovely. I believe the room was a renovated high-rise apartment. Since it hadn't been long since the renovation, the room was clean. As there's no daily cleaning, you need to inform the reception to exchange amenities like bath towels. What was disappointing was the weak water pressure in the shower and the lack of hot water. If you can handle a cold shower, it might be fine, but it was quite tough for me. The staff, however, were smiling and very friendly.

The location and price are excellent; you won't find better value for money in Phnom Penh. Plus, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, which made my first visit to Cambodia feel very warm. I look forward to coming back here next time.
