I just returned from a weekend at The Sleep Inn-Sky harbor. It was a disaster. First, do not stay on a weekend. I was told repeatedly that because it was the weekend, no help was available. Avoid Room 302. The bathroom door (a pocket door) was stuck ajar, and would not close-or open. There were paint chips everywhere (from the door) and broken screws on the floor. I told disinterested desk staff about it-they said "someone would look at it." That someone was me. I finally asked for a trash bag, vacuum, and fresh towels. I emptied the trash, bagged the old towels, and showed a maid ("they've gone home for the weekend") the floors and she simply shook her head and picked up most of the mess. Another man in front of me at the desk said that there were long hairs in the bed-(he was bald, his wife had short hair) and he didn't think fresh linen was used before they checked in. A very dirty, unhelpful hotel, clearly little maid service -and not cheap enough to warrant it's reputation. Will try to get this word out to others. Tiles off in the elevator, a sad breakfast, and yet-it was a full hotel. Beware. This place is to be avoided.
