I recommend this place if you're going to see the tamarind tree in the middle of the water. Staying here feels like staying at a relative's house; it's very warm and welcoming. Uncle Oun and Aunt Thip are lovely and even offered to take us for a drive to explore nature. It's a shame we were tired and wanted to rest more, but we'll definitely come back. P.S. 1: The restaurant behind the guesthouse is a simple, home-style place where Auntie makes delicious, authentic local food. P.S. 2: Wat Phra That Doi Wiang Chai Mongkol is very beautiful. If you're staying in this area, I recommend visiting it.

The art at this place is why I came here. The host is incredible and kind, creative and a pillar of his community. He took me on a bike ride around the town, a candle lighting ceremony at the temple, and to other beautiful locations. The food was delicious, and again, the art in the space created a fantastical experience.
