Lotus Home Cafe - Cable Car Station

Make sure you go to the correct hotel, as there's another one with the same name. The room and bed are clean and quiet. You can see the sea from the balcony.

We stayed at the Lotus Home Signature branch. It's only a few minutes' walk to the Cable Car Station, which is super convenient. There's a 24-hour convenience store about a 2-minute walk to the right of the hotel's main entrance. In the mornings, there's a tuk-tuk service to take guests to breakfast. Overall, it's very convenient. The only downsides are that the hot water for showering and the air conditioning could be improved.

Just a heads-up, there are two locations for this hotel. Getting from one to the other is convenient as you can use transportation. We traveled with two families and stayed in separate rooms at two different hotel buildings: one right in front of the cable car and another in the town center. The cable car-side hotel was very clean and nice. The one in the town center felt a bit older, but it was perfectly fine for sleeping. It's a short walk to the main attractions, which was perfect for getting to the fireworks show at night.

I visited during peak season when other hotels were very expensive, with only a few reasonably priced options available, so I chose this one. The value for money truly exceeded my expectations! First, every day they provided a car to take us to a restaurant for a free and delicious breakfast. Second, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. One staff member named Mi Rong spoke excellent and lovely Chinese! ❤️ Plus, you can directly rent motorbikes, book island hopping tours, and arrange private car services right at the hotel, which is super convenient. The hotel is located in Sunset Town. My only minor disappointment was that I booked a large window room specifically to see the cable car, but for some reason, I was placed in a different branch where the window view didn't offer a view of the cable car. However, it wasn't a big deal, and overall, I was still very satisfied with my stay! 🥰

I really enjoyed the cable car ride, it took us over several islands. I was also pleased that the queues for the rides weren't long when we got there. However, I regret not being able to try the water rides because I didn't realize I needed to bring a swimsuit.
